this phone rocks only in music.... it has poor camera, memory card and it seems very slow......

it's been a week since i bought this handsome!
it looks gorgeous!fantastic!
i had a k750 and it broke!as i don't need a camera and I don't use bluetooth, i bought it and it suits me perfectly!
here's the details:
1-as I said the look's awsome!
2-the keypad is made of plastic(i think) it seems a bit weak!
3-the software is soooo much better than k750!faster,more features,flash menues,etc
4-this phone is loud!u can hear the ringtone from a kilometers away!
5-the musicplayer...well...what can i say,it's a walkman!...perfect as always
anyway...if megapixels and BT isn't important to you, this phone is the best choice!

If your phone is encountering any problems, please update your phone software. Also try formatting the card. My phone has a 1GB card in it and so far no problem. I even have my card filled up to the maximum.
Playing at a high bitrate such as 225kbps is not a problem for my phone. I am really wondering why is this such a big issue?
Maybe you should format your memory card and recopy it again.

To Pocucurantæ, se means by saying that 4 gb card isn't compatible with w200 is that the reeding speed of fone will slow down a lot with increase in size of memory card used in the fone. But if u think ur highly patient enough with ur fone then try 8gb.

Well jayson let me list the reasons for ur prob
1. Ur headphones might have been faulty or it must have worn off even my hp is like that, or make the fittings tight
2,3and5. Ur phone must have some lose connections or whatsoever.

phone does not support wav,some jar (dont work properly),some 3gp files,we cannot remove operator logo,bad bass sound,if any one have solution about above problem please send me

I bought this phone in october with a 4GB memory stick and it works fine. Just takes a little longer to load. Has anyone tried 8gb cards? I'm not asking if it doesn't support it or not, just if someone tried it because like mentioned before my W200 has no problems with 4gb cards and the official SonyEricsson site and posters here say it doesn't work, even if that's not the truth.

It's light. I can listen to more music. I just don't like that fact there's no blue tooth and the resolution of pics are pretty bad.

1st problem the phone won't detect sometimes the headphone and if it is detected the left ear phone is the only one working so i have to detach it and plug it again ANNOYING! waisting time...
2nd problem sometimes when i turned my phone on it will not detect my m2 and need to turn it off and on again!... SO UPSETTING!
3rd problem when i listen to a mp3 it just stops and says "PLAYBACK FAILED"
4th problem when i raise the volume or equalizer it hangs and make a annoying noise..
5th problem when I sometimes hardly push the monitor it suddenly restarts...
... CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME! ...
... or change this phone? ...

Just bought this awesome phone yesterday, and it's just exceeding almost all of my expectation.
Walkman: haven't found any bugs (maybe it's because all of my MP3 was set to 128kbps bit rate, just like what Sushi told), but i cant really tell the different between the sound quality of w200 & K750 (i own K510, K750, & K320) so I'm disappointed a bit& what really bothers me is the HPM-60 from K750 IMHO produces much deeper bass than W200's HPM-64 (or maybe my hpm-64 is faulty)
Screen Resolution: exceeding my expectation! slightly better than k320 & only loss to K510 by a fraction. so Sushi, dont bother to change your screen to K510's TFT, i dont think it worth the hussle.
Camera: its certainly brighter than K320, so its not too bad at all.
bottom line is, if you have a tight budget (this little wonder only cost USD108 here in Indonesia), go for it.

check on the new price tools by GSM Arena announced from today (14th March 2008) in the "SPECIFICATION PAGE" and also in the "ADVANCED SEARCH PAGE" - very interesting. For example, N82 giving 7 full icons (out of 10), and I've checked this w200i is having 2 full icons (out of 10), so thats how you can compare the prices!!! So that's icon price!!! but good feature indeed to compare prices!! Good job by GSM Arena team!!

Thanks for giving information on using disk-2-phone software in the cd of the phone for chaning the target bit rate (max 192 as per 5ushi) i hope that should stop givng errors and i can fix up playing songs without giving failure or error messages.

u can change the target bit rate to 32kbps till 192kbps using the disc2phone software provided in the cd along with ur w200 phone..
or u can download it from www.sonyericsson.com
the alternative way to convert the bit rate is using windows media player..
but using disc2phone softare is much easier..>

To NAZ, this fone doesn't support dual sim but it can support dual lines in one sim(needs service provider's support). Call ur customer care for more details.
