Hi! well p@in, if ur conformed that the mem card ur buying is genuin then u must try 1gb card with out any further thinking, but if u fell that the mem card isn't genuine then stick with 128gb. I am usin a 2gb in my fone manufactured dec2007 with no prob

OK Guyz..... I have this phone for about 2 weeks or so now. Anyway,one day I was transferring songs to my phone. My memory card is 1GB SanDisk. While transferring halfway, it says something like "transfer error, cannot read from source file". I was alarmed about this so I formatted my 1GB card and everything works fine now.
A little advice to those who purchase M2 Memory Stick. It is wise to format your card once before using it. In my case, I had about 800 MB of songs in my phone at that time! Just imagine how long it took me to transfer all those songs again!So it's better to prevent this from happening than to be surprised halfway (at those moments where you really need to listen to your W200 and you find it needs reformatting). I don't intend to alarm anyone though; not all cards have errors so it is really up to you to take my advice.
Anyway, my battery condition have not improved although I have charged it overnight? It still lasts for only about 2 hours when I play music through my EARPHONES at a MODERATE volume. Would someone please tell me how long your phone battery lasts when playing MP3 through EARPHONES?

The W200 can be modified in hardware terms, so that it can have a 1.3 Megapixel camera. You will need a torx screwdriver, and a camera module from SE K510, and a relatively good knowledge of the W200's insides. I believe that the camera module can be clipped off and the new one snapped on - just keeping in mind that you will require a K510 camera driver (not sure if it is completely required yet). As for bluetooth, this cannot be added. The space for the bluetooth module is occupied by the M2 slot on the W200. In addition, the LCD screen can also be replaced with a higher quality, 256K TFT LCD from a K510. This replacement (I think) won't require any firmware alterations, but I have yet to confirm that.
As for the memory card hangings... UPDATE YOUR PHONES PEOPLE~! The W200 is capable of using the 1GB M2 cards. About 4 months ago, SE, made it compatible to 2GB (and this may increase in the future). I personally use the 1GB without any performance hinderances... It runs smoothly, like it runs the supplied 128MB one. Check your cards - it may be host to a virus (common if you bought the card from eBay, street dealers etc). I use the genuine Sony 1GB M2, and so far it has not lagged the phone (never lagged in fact).

well p@in i think 128 is more okay coz the fone wont hang but it is just a low mem... but 1 gb is okay... but the decision is yours...

well when i bought the fone i already know how to change the track by long pressing the volume key... coz my tta has K800 and im using it as a mp3 player... and do u know im just 12???... ahehe... whose 12 herE??

still can't believe nobody's complaining about the font size during SMS writing. i still don't know how to resize it. that's my only gripe besides the lack of bluetooth capabilities. does anyone know how to resize the font?

if i put a 1Gb card on my w200i and i only consumed a few bytes.. will it start to hang? is 512Mb good enough or will it also hang..? pls elp tenx..!

any mp3 will do as a ringtone., and in using mp3 tones as message alert tone..its just for a few seconds and not the whole mp3 song.... i heard china made fones cannot use mp3's as ringtones

What kind of mp3 can you use as a ringtone? seems every mp3 I have can't be used as ringtones, even the mp3 ringtones I download on ringtone webpages
