Hi all,
I just bought the W300i in bangalore,I transfered the AAC file from my nokia phone to W300i, But I am unable to play the format. Can someone please help me in playing AAC format as a ringtone. Please I need this information urgently.

i finally bought this phone
is there a software awailable which can lock some audio and video files on this phone
by da way its a great phone nice little n sturdy , feels and looks great in hand

I've owned this phone for a month and think its great. Ive got 80 songs on it and still have 99 megs left on the included 512 card. Plus the phone has 22 megs internal memory for pics and videos. The video and picture DJ's are lots of fun. Great battery, sturdy but lightweight design, stellar looks.
Didn't like the ear bud design, but the handsfree has a regular headphone jack to plug in your favorite headphones. By far the best choice in this price range.

to TRj6, I would'nt buy the Z520 if i were you as the memory is very poor 2 or three songs and its full, I'd go for the Z530i as it has a memery card option and apart from the radio, edge and memory card (included in the w300) is almost identical to the W300 anyway, but a lot cheaper

Well, i dont understand why some operator block the mp3 ringtone feature. I cant find a logic behind that.
The battery life is better than average in my opinion. Becoz, i luv to play with the phone with bluetooth and internet on. Still it gives me decent performance. I think if somebody just talks on the phone for about 1 hour a day, the battery will last for atleast 3 days.
@Niks, I have observed the same prob as u have mentioned. Even the "RDS" also gets highlighted sometime. But i m sure no radio operator in india are providing RDS support as of now. Plz correct me if i m wrong here.
The price in India for the phone is about 10000. Thats about 215 USD or something. It surely can not be even closer to $519. u can buy 2 phones like this with that much money.....

While listening to the Radio, Sometimes "Stereo" is higlighted and sometimes not. Is anyone facing this?

hey thanks for telling me the record time of the video..very much appreciated..you rock!!...can someone also tell me why in all places besides australia the fone's between $200-$300...but in australia it is like $519...that really sucks bekos everyones saying its cheap..and im like wat the hell r u talking bout:P....so if anyone can please tell me why it is so expencive in australia...please rite bak..on this page..would be much appreciated...bye!!

Actually speaking about the price, yeah w300 is really affordable. here in the philippines its around P10000, a little less than $200...

very sorry to hear that u have lost that masterpiece w810.
But when there is a comparison between k610 and w300, u have to see wat u want actually. W300 has got same good sound as other walky phone, but its not A2DP capable.Even a third party headset wont help u.K610 is a 3G phone with A2DP capability. Currently i own a w300 and its simply too good for the price i have paid for it.
Regarding video rec, whenever i have recorded video, it hasnt shown any restriction regarding rec time. The max time time duration that i have recorded is 4 minutes and i m sure it can easily go beyond that.

O man, somebody stole my w810 when I was in abus going home (well ok I'm really s*u*i*) but anyway I was able to save up money but only enough to buy either K610 or w300. Feature wise K610 is better, but basing on the looks w300 is way better.
But I was just wondering does w300 suppor stereo bluetooth headset. I did see one from sony ericsson and they only support k610 but I was hoping a third party brand would be compatible.
