Sucn a poor phone! I have no words to describe. The worst of all is the sound. Yes, it's so strange having in mind that Sonyericsson gave him the W serie but that is true. It sounds like some poor chinese toy. I gave the phone a week after i bought it. Such a waste of money! Poor, poor, poor...

I bought the device 2 days ago with subscription plan from mtel - Bulgara. The phone is branded with vadafone logo since mtel represents vodafone in Bulgaria. Despite of the big number of opinions here I am happy with the performance of the device. There are some things I cannot cope with - java application installation - some of the applications I tried to install refuse to be installed - Item not supported or untrusted application - canceling. This happened when I tried to install google maps and fring. Other applications installed successfully despite of the fact they were also untrusted - gmail, skype, jimm, opera.
The other strange thing was that the Bluetooth dial-up channel is 6 which is unusual and some people may get confused - linux users have to edit /etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf and to put 6 insted of 1 there (or may be better to scan the BT before with sdptool browse BT MAC address)
The quality of the display is not as good as I want, but I really bought it because of the walkman player. So I hope it will work without problems.

charick, 31 Mar 2009can't install themes , too bad. no one can solve it:download themes supported by sony ericsson W660 , it will surely help... :)

W302 is OK but they are some Diffrent things
+: Videos can be used as a Wallpaper,Headset sound is more louder,MP3s not so loud but Ringtones is loud,Startup & shutdown is more Faster
-: Sometimes the prosesor is so Slow,No Themes download,No Smyleys(i Install it at the sony Ericsson store,Opera mini can't work( you must add the proxy adrees Go to Internetsettings at your Inbuilt broser
then select accounts then select options and click view,no Flash themes(the gold Record theme at W660 os Flash but at W302 is not) im Sorry Sony Ericsson im not mad with you

when you get a text from and unidentified number n you try and save it. it doesnt appear in the contact list

i think so,that se w302 themes will apply when you download them from computer.make sure that the thems you downloaded are for w302.ALSO,you can update your mobile phone from internet,like update your camera or anything else.

this is an ODM model, made by sagem
the quality of reception is ok but speaker is too bad
software if fine but the processor is very slow
overall i give it 3\10

2 things i don't like about this phone, one is there's no name of sender when reading the message in inbox. 2nd thing, no 'justify' in write message.
Besides those, the phone is ok.
