This phone is ok, but not up to usual sony ericsson standards from my experience of previous phones, not so much with the actual handset, but the accessories that come with it. The user manuals of my previous sony ericsson phones were very informative but this just gave me very simple instructions on a folded piece of paper. It doesnt include a pc suite cd rom, and what have they done to those excellent sony ericsson walkman headphones that came with the original walkman phones? These new ones are shocking!
Anyway back to the handset, overall is pretty good, very nice design and i like the matal front. The camera is actually very good compared to previous sony ericsson walkman phones ive had, however, the music player is definatley worse even when listening to music through headphones (listening to music through the speaker is terrible). Sound output just isnt as good as it used to be, although its just as good as an average cheap mp3 player though. The user interface of the w302 has had an update but nothing too different compared to other se's ive had. Call quality is good and the battery life is average. Overall then i do quite like the phone but i think its far from the perfect phone, for me anyway.

Is a bad phone. Hardware SAGEM ,no themes compatible in archives .THM , low audio ear and ring tones . Sony Ericsson fake phone.

you can install new themes, the external speakers are very low volume, the camera is good, skipping themes and low vol.. rest of the phone is very good
sometimes bluetooth does not support applications better way go for k550

i guess the series number has something to do with the quality of se phones, just like with nokia.
for example, the 6XXX series phones, e.g. 6500, are better than the 3XXX series phones like 3110c.
with se for example, the t700 is much better than the t303.
just my two cents.

Sajain, 26 Mar 2009Nokia 5130 or Sony Ericsson W302? Which will be better?The Nokia5310 - it may be a littl pricier, but you're getting a better phone. The camera is better and it comes with a 2GB card instead of 512MB. I've also found more software problems with the w302 than the 5310, so it seems to be a more reliable phone.
