i bought this phone in oct 08, i loved this phone a lot it has great features the best buy at the time, however, it has alot of faults, i got 3 different types of w380 and they all have faults that time life span with this phone was not long... Im back with my old nokia from 4 yrs ago

I have this phone... and after 9 months of using it, the external display completely broke and now i cant see the time, the caller display, and i cant use the touch pad play,stop or pause buttons!
I'm upgrading my phone to an LG neon!

I am currently using the phone for a year now.
pros;
1. has sleek design
2. touch sensor music short-cuts
3. has nice colour variations
cons;
1. no video recording
2. the camera is only VGA
3. not so good sound quality
4. not really comfortable keypads
5. short battery life
overall, its all ok.
I still love this phone. :)

Well i have used this phone for almost 6 months i ve had number of problems with this phone battery life is terrible.Sound quality is ok though it is W series.And camera is really bad it is 1mp camera but in manual it is written that it is 1.3mp camera ,no video recording a big down point,it hangs evry now and then and also the picture quality is not so good earphone will create problems afer a while . It is a very basic phone i will not recommend for music lovers because best phones are available with the cheaper rates like nokia xpressmusic. And gesture control also does not work properly.this would be my last sony phone.

Hi , I had this phone debranded and unlocked for aprox 6 month , no problem at all , working perfect, only have 2 things to be improve .... upgrade to quadband , and improve the speakers some tones sound low. but is really good phone like all sonyericsson that i had before.
