I work for a service provider and must i say i hate selling this phone to a customer. I always tell them to choose a different phone from our selection because they're going to be dissappointed/ regretful in a month.
There is a 1 year warranty but the warranty issues on this phone are brutal. the front display always craps out and other misc things happen to this phone.
we cant even keep up with all the warranty issues. We have a freaking huge list for people to wait to exchange there for under warranty.
Brutal phone imo.

Hands feeling is very important to choose something like cell phones, i think w380 has a gr8 hands feeling(modern design) with nice features at this price like walkman software, gesture control, touch sensitive music controls , essential external display,free 512 mb M2 card, its rock.

Hi! :) I'm in love with the way this phone looks. It will be my first phone and I plan on being with it til death do us part. So, is it worth it? Can I use facebook or msn on it?

one question..umm..there is something like a touch light when the phone rings on the surface of the phone.can you use that for taking pics??

i need to know this asap!!!! can someone please tell me if this phone has dutch language already installed? if not which sony has it? i know mot u9 has it but i would rather go with something else...

i have had this phone for atleast 2 weeks now..its a pretty gud phone..my only dissapointed is that it cant record videos..umm..with the equalizer, i dont really hear the difference between the megas bass,voice the treble boost..ect...but i still love it...

I wouldn't recommend the W350 because the front flip seems too flimsy for my taste but that's a personal preference. Also have a look at the W300i if you'd like a really good deal and are not too worried about the camera. (that one's a flip too).

I had this phone for maybe 2 months! And i loved every minute of it, brilliant phone, great sound.....until it started giving me troubles!!!! Firstly the outside screen started giving me troubles ( never showed up and wouldn't work even though i used that lock key!) but that never really bothered me until i could not recieve calls!!!!!! But thats not my biggest problem, my biggest problem is that one day i switched it off ( with full battery ) and a hour later it NEVER SWITCHED BACK ON!!!!! And it looked like im not the only one thats had this problem...as i've read this seems to be a problem.....but suprisingly this is not a major problem because i know this is just a software problem and could be fixed by yourself by downloading the new software!!!......Please dont get turned off by this...this is a macnificent phone that is a very good phone!!!! Unfortunatly my phone couldn't get fixed:(. I am a very strong and proud Sony Ericsson fan and thats not going to change by this!!!! I've only had Sony Ericssons and only will have their phones!!! My next phone I am looking at is the W350...is it a good phone or should i go for something else??
My conclusion: W380 is a brilliant phone!!!!! GET IT!!!!

plz do urselfs a favor, dont get this phone! i donno wat i was thinkin but i got this fone! (un4tuntly), i brought it allphones, and it was from Optus pp package in Chadstone AUS, this fone stuffed up in like 3 mths, it cant receive properly, and i need this fone 24.7, i tried to get it fixed, or at least store credit, but i they do is send bak the repairing place, went there 3 times already to get it fixed but it still acts up, so, i wrote a letter to Allphones and sony ericsson wit my depressing lil story, abt this $200 fone, and they never replied, so my exp. is dat i will neva go and buy another fone at allphones, and never ever look at a sony ericsson again! their manufactors are crap, some of my friends hand sony ericsson, and it plays up all the time, bad reception, always have to send it to the shop bak to fix it, etc etc, im goin to get a new phone, and then smash this fone, or. sell this fone at ebay, ... not happy jane!

as a user of this phone i must say that it is pretty neat and stylish. but im not a fan of it. This phone turns off for itself and the volume of the music get lower radomly, dont know why it does that. But unfortunately it broke when i was sleeping on my bed i forgot to close it and when i woke up i saw that it was broken. how sad .
