I have installed SE PC suite v4.0 and v6.0. Whenever I am connecting my W395 via USB(2.0) in my PC(I have Windows XP SP 2 as OS),it is not getting recognized as either phone or modem. I have tried in different USB ports, restarted the phone and pc,have selected phone mode while connecting, have reinstalled Motherboard(DG 41WV and Quad core Q8300 2.5 Ghz.) drivers.How do I connect to internet via dial-up connection using W395 as modem? I need it very urgently.Any help will be appreciated.

3]Only 100 sms can be stored in Inbox (very poor)
4]No Support to Jump to the song number as it is available in oter sony err mobiles

the first charging is very important to determine battery life..turn off your phone and charge it for 3.5 hours for the first charging..

Imagine being dragged naked across a fifty mile stretch of tobasco soaked shards of glass...nope, not even that compares to the horrificness of this dreadful blizzard of misery.
first it all it claims to be a media phone, hmmm....theres no standard headphone jack so your forced to use SE's dreadful one which break in ten seconds, halve of the media files out there are'nt recognised, most of the supported MP3's dont work, it freezes halve way through a song, it resets the equalizer constantly so everytime you play the next song you have to go into a menu then into 6 further sub menus just to make your song sound anygood and worst of all it said that 'the beatles - please please me' was from the year 1932 and was rap...eurgh, the list continues.
the camera is'nt bad but try to actually take any pictures and well, your stumped, as the measly 1gb of supllied memory will be full of failed attempts of copied songs and tons of systems files. try to delte them? you cant as it freezes everytime you open the media folder. buy a new memory stick? you can't, it freezes completely if you try use anything that did'nt come with it... ARGHH!!!
Video viewing is atrocious, file navigation is impossible, compatible 3rd party software/apps are non existent, contacts are deleted everytime phoneis switched off, battery life is barely 12 hours, the so called 'scratch resistent screen is now full of scratches...the list of the bad goes on. saying that, texting is simple and effective, calling/recieving is nice enough and the UI is good looking and user friendly. but the positive ends there.
I really wan'ted to like this phone, its very good looking, slim and feels nice solid in your hand but the list of problems is too much I should have to cope with seen as I spent my hard earned cah on it...sorry SE, better luck next time.

when i play the vedio songs, it is very slow other phones, it is take time.
there are no option to send the two or more sms in one time.

plzz dont go for it.. it hangs very frequently. very few messages can be stored in inbox.. for muzic if u wanna buy the phone den buy a ipod. i am regretting by taking this phone..
can any one tell me if i send this to sony work shop will they repair it or replace the piece???

i have only one thing too say about this phone and it is simple....serious flex cable issues...the flex cable isnt that strong and does not last for very long for the most 6-8 months

Camera is really good quite contrary to common perceptions. I have had print-outs from the phone directly (6 inch by 4 inch) and it's quite better than low-end SLR cameras. You don't want a digital camera like features from a Walkman series phone, isn't it? Sound,styling has been much talked about so no need to elaborate. Battery too isn't that much bad (believe me, I have listened in the pre-loaded walkman mode in full volume via external loud-speakers and it lasted for more than 2.5 hr.s). If you like more juice in battery, then better not buy a walkman phone with two awesome speakers ..... Nokia 1650 will be fine enough for you !

CONS:
1. No themes support.
2. It hangs all the time.
3. Limited inbox for messages(new message and sent).
4. When connected to PC sometimes it is not detected.
PROS:
1. Excellent Music/sound quality
2. Excellent Battery life 2-3 days.
