W395 phone software was very slow its not working properly . phone was use only music play, camera is good quality . compare W395 to other mobiles its very bad . One important mater this phone was not supported Sony Ericsson pc sute . another disadvantage was the phone themes are not available . I don't know why Sony Ericsson this type of phone launched.
I think Sony Ericsson is good for mobile . but now i change my opinion after buy this W395

MUST READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU BUY
Well, After reading all the ya-ya posted here, I'm pretty confused that one should buy this phone or not; there is so much contrast between different reviews. I appreciate the efforts of all the review writers, but in fact none of the reviews can be said a TRUE review, so here is a true review of W395. So, You'll agree that different phones have different features and one should by the one which matches his own requirements. After comparing with many other phones within the price range, W395 is the best phone I found matching my requirements. So here are my views about W395 .
FEATURES :
Sound Quality => It's just awesome with the Two Streo Speakers on the phone and it's a blast with the headset, after all its a Walkman phone. Every music lover should have one. (and, and its much better than Nokia 'Xpress Music' phones within the price range.)
2.0 MP camera => Good camera quality (much-more better than Nokia & Samsung phones with 2.0 MP camera, especially in insignificant light, it's very vivid than Nokia 2.0 MP phones) however it's lacking flash light, but it can be ignored due to it's vividness in the night mode. It's auto-adjust feature just works great.
Looks => Just one word... 'WOW', it's almost a slim handset even if it is a SLIDER. Deserves ***** (5 stars) for this. I think i didn't need to mention it here, probably everyone will love its looks.
Java Support => Java applications (176x220) are supported on W395 and people complaining about the problems (with opera mini and all that...), Listen Dude, this phone doesn't have any problem, running any compatible java application. Those, who complains, don't know how to find the compatible and correct version; it doesn't implies that there is some problem with the phone and, in fact, MOST JAVA APPLICATIONS (176X220) WORKS ABSOLUTELY FINE ON W395. They, I mean the manufacturer, also claim MOTION GAMING on the phone, but due to some reason, it doesn't work on mine (probably because i dropped it down a few times, not sure that it ever had a motion sensor). One of the preloaded games, 'NitroStreet Racing' is a motion sensor game with 'Gesturetek' controls and many more motion sensor games are available on the internet.
Music Player => It's a Walkman phone guys, The built-in Walkman Player is amazing, with one touch key on the phone-front and volume keys on the right-side. The best thing i liked in this player is the manageable queue of the songs. Video Player is also fine but i don't like watching videos on the phone, so i cannot say MUCH ;-) about video player.
WEB => W395 employs OpenWave Web Browser, it's OK, but I am more used to use browsers like UC Browser; the fastest among all and it also have video streaming function, it's -> BOLT Browser Simple and friendly, classic style of Menus.
FM Radio => it's OK
DRAWBACKS : 3G not supported; preloaded themes only, no support for user themes; takes some time in application installation; Short keys on the numeric keypad, only suitable for people with thin fingers; lack of flashlight with camera; and... Everything Else Is Satisfactory.
Mistaken Issues : Some people say their phone freezes. Well, then may be your phone is not faulty, it's either due to your style of operating the phone, or, due to the most common reason -> LOW FREE SPACE ON THE PHONE MEMORY. Yes, it's the naturally the most common reason for slowing down phones. W395 comes with 15 MB of phone memory, keep it as free as you can by storing your files on the memory card, and you'll enjoy a really fast phone. The low free space on the phone memory, as I've found so far, is the most common 'De-accelerator' for any phone manufactured by any company, So keep it free.

It hangs a lot, gives network problem and battery too doesnt lasts for long. Moreover, within six months of purchase the phone speaker in my phone went out of order and needs to be replaced now. The phone comes with a host of problems, buy it at your own risk.

When I first bought it, it had low battery, but when I asked the shop, they said I have to charge it for 1 hour for the first use, so that's what I did, did you guys do that too? And is yours also have bad camera quality? Minde does, but good speakers. ;)

External sound is really good .. it could've been at least 15-20% louder. Any one of either flash or 3G would come in handy. GPRS is not that good. Battery back-up for a dual-speaker phone like W395 also could've been better. Would like to rate it 7.5 out of 10.
