Look wise this phone is quite good, also it will well attract the people who love music, i have very good experience with music in this phone.. But if any one is looking for good camera, third party themes and java games, i would suggest him not to go for this phone. Over all I will rate this phone 6.

If no letter, that means you are out of GPRS/EDGE Netwok and cannot use internet.

About:
I have seen many models with dual speakers before, but this is the first one having real STEREO speakers. You can place it on its side and listen like a pocket radio. The sound quality is superb. The sound is kinda bassy compared to other walkman models. The headset I got is hpm-62 which also is excellent. FM radio reception and quality is very good. FM through stereo speakers is good.
There are many preset equalisers including bass++ and treble++. ('Rock' is ma fav.) Manual setting and Stereo widening also there.
Walkman player and FM radio play minimised. The walkman interface is impressive. Three skins available- orange, normal, white. Album art can be displayed.
Before uploading songs, if you spare a few minutes editing the track info with windows music player's music library, You can very well organise your music using the walkman's tree like organiser- Album, Artist, track and playlists. In WMP, you can even edit the Album Art with your own pictures.
The W symbol at the front bottom will glow only when you turn on the walkman. And if light effects are on, this logo and the navigation pad orange ring starts blinking.
CONS;-
It doesn't support wmv. And it is heard that some particular formats of mp3 also not supported. Anyway, all the 350 mp3 tracks in my 4GB Sandisk m2 card are supported.
Caution:
While adding a track to play list, always select from the Album/tracks of walkman player itself- select a track>options>add to playlist. Never go to the music folder and add!!! (It is the one area where all SE phones hang and this one being a bit more lazy, it may hang for its life making you crazy!!) Also never practise opening music folder to listen to music. It is too slow and you wont get the benefits of equaliser and sound effects. Organise your music and select tracks from the walkman player. It is fast.

REMEMBER, the phone may disappoint you in general utility areas other than music. As a cute walkman handset, it is so good.

camera is not good..really really bad..cant zoom it,,only if set on vga..cant use other themes or cant be installed by other themes..battery only last for 1 day (either in normal use or if used with music)..im very disappointed with the camera because i thought that the best feature of ericcson is the camera..just wonderin y the camera of w395 is so bad:( u cant see the images clearly..

Hello guys i have read you people has got problems with this phone while installing opera mini...guys just ask for the settings from the operator and save it again...i also suffered from the same problem but i asked for the settings..and i saved it again it worked properly...some times the settings wont be saved properly...try this guys...

You cant download and use other themes. It doesnt support .thm files

worst phone ever used , had a w700i , thought of buying a basic bar w series cell, and landed up with this buggy phone . hanged the day i bought , went to the service centre , they made a software update , but of no use . Again problem reoccured , this time the cell was given to the factory and i was without a cell for about 2 weeks , the entire motherboard was changed. The problem was supposed to be solved,, right ??? .... it again reoccured within few days ,, i have given up on this phone.. (btw the problem was as below: wen using the walkman , suddenly the cell gives out loud noise , the cell display discolors and restarts itself)......
PLS DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP .....
