waste of money, it doesn't support any themes, or any other softwares. only good thing is its speakers. sound is really good. camera is worse, like VGA cameras.

Rakib, 10 Dec 2009I tried installing opera mini... it downloads into the phon... moreHope my previous reply for you was clear;
1. Make sure you are installing opera mini 3.1, not version 4 or 5-beta which won't work.
2. It asked me also the java internet settings. Thats why I mentioned it in my previous reply. It is same as your usual gprs settings. But you have to select it the first time by going menu/organiser/applications/settings/connection...
And then try uninstalling and installing. It must work.

while installing, it stops and says "Contact your operator for Java Internet Settings"
well operators have nothing called 'JAVA' internet settings... it's just internet settings common for all app... i am not able to install Java based internet apps.
i also sent my phone to the sonyEricsson service center hoping that it might help.. but still no luck.... can you help me out step by step on how you installed Opera Mini on the w395?

sumtyms d audio files start playing automatically 2 b mre specific d files run in non sequential order,, dunno y... once if i switch it off n restart again it bcums alryt,, find a soln?? shud i reinstal d software??

Hey, I have a problem with the charging of the battery..
It says that it can't be charged on this temperature.. and I tried 100 times in different rooms in different temperature.. :)
Pls help if u know what I should do..

how to install opera mini or mig33 on the w395. i ... moreopera mini 3.1 is working very well for me. it is fast too. To install, go to operamini.com from phone browser and instead of the main download link for ver 4, SELECT the link "if this version fails to install...older version.. click..."
Also gmail and orkut apps working well in my phone. Orkut app has one advantage- it shows the orkut contacts and phone's contact together in contacts tab !! So we can make a call directly from orkut. To install gmail/orkut/other google mob apps go to http://m.google.com from phone browser(without typing www) or visit this page: http://www.google.co.in/intl/en/mobile/sony/
First time any java internet app is installed, you may need to select the connection settings. For this, scroll to the app in the list, options/settings/connection and select.

Every time I try to download music I get an error reading "unsupported media format". It is very frustrating as my previous Sony Ericsson I could download all the music I chose. Obviously there is a problem with the phone.
