thats my fav website bcoz i can get latest theme fo my "baby"-SEK700....enjoy!
just click save target as and then transfer to you w550 using bluetooyh/infrared!
and its FREEEEEEEEEEE!

Anyone can suggest some good websites for free themes on this phone? Tried the Sony Website but couldn't download it from the My Contents folder using WAP.

helo everyone i just need a help from everyone,i buyed w550i few days back but there is some problem in it when some one calls me and i pressed the answer key then the vibrater continues vibrating even im talking on phone,what is this problem?

just continuing my message, sum guy said 256MB is not enough to play videos, well he is wrong, because of the 2 inch screen size, converting a movie into mp4 or 3gp, u need to shrink the size to fit in the player's screen, so a typical 4 minute music video will take only 8 to 20MB, and the available memory is around 200MB (50sumthing megabyte for internal software)

Hi guys,
Got a question..how the camera of ur w550i?..I just find mine quite grainy, and sumtime if the lighting is bad..you woud get a real ugly reception..is that normal?..is there any software..upgrade or fix..to rectify it?..ur answer will be appreciated..tnk u guys!!!

just replying to sum guy about playing movies, this phone, actually no phone supports mpg, mpeg,etc Only 3gp and mp4. well except the AKmobile DV2 an AK900, which supports avi files, to watch videos, u need a 3gp/mp4 converter which converts the mpg, mp2,mpeg,rm,rmvb etc into playable mp4 or 3gp

Here in the Phil. right now W550 and 6630 has the same price BUT:
Memory:
for a techi person 256 mb is more than enough.
Video:
Dont compare the video quality while you are recording the video.
Compare it after you have save the video and transfer it to the computer.
Then you will see the real quality.
Sound:
The sound is good especially with a high quality audio file.

i´ve got problem with playing sounds different than mp3 format. it could play wav files for some time and then stopped. can it play avi and mpeg video files? i have problem with that

its normal HARPREET!, if someone load their phone with tooooo much file....it cause corruption!
i also had same problem with my SE K700..and its common,especially with my picture!..but thats not worried me....becoz i only need to restart my "baby",and.....everything goes back to normal!

I just got this phone a month back and already i m loving it...i have nearly 70 pictures on this and 10 themes and around 85 songs..( for those who wish to have more songs they can get it transported at 64kbps . Quality will go down a bit but u can store more songs).my only concern is that i have corrupted files in my phone( all in my picture folder)...i have tried resetting and also sent a mail to sony ericsson and have received nothing yet..so can anyone help me with this....i have to get these corrupted files removed.....plzzzzzzzz helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!

Hi got this fone 2 days ago..its great!, although the camera is below my expectation mabe due to it not having auto focus..how evr my question is..
-can I use my own gif wallpaper for this fone (aside from the default wallpaper the has)? how?
-how do I sinchronize my phone contacts to outlook?..

Hey Majidah,
I had the K700 and then bought the w550. The w550 is great and I much prefer it to the K700. I love the fact that it has a USB cable, makes connecting and transfering great. The sound and MP3 on the w550 is amazing too. I am delighted with it.

hey guys, i got this phone two months back and
here are all of its negative points
-os is not as stable. the phone may hang sometimes if you load more than a couple of app.
-phone does not support video playback resolution more than 176*144. so fullscreen mode is interpolated, and quality goes dam low
-keypad feels cramped until u get used to it
-limited memory may be a issue for power users, otherwise its enough for normal usage though
-hey dat bright orange flip tends to get dirty very easily and cannot be cleaned. my turned dark.
-the flash led is good for use as a torch at night but helps little while taking snaps.
-its 1.3mp camera is worst i hv ever seen. noise catches up even in normal lighting conditions.outdoor photos come out good but could have been much better.
-loud speaker during call is very average
for the pros the list is endless.
i have fallen in love with this phone.
if the cons dont mind you ,just grab it. its just for u
