guys im using this for past 1 year in a bad climate and envirmnt but it workng superb.nice sounds and i have all in this mms.sms.and evn browsng check my mail and music when travelng and as a mass storage as some times.cool phone i recomnd it if u can use a phone carefuly..as a software engineer i love this phone and wan t sell it even if i buyng a new one...

hey guys is there anyway i can connect W550 to my computer and access the internet connection via bluetooth....cz using GPRS in india is expensive...i want 2 use my computer's internet connection...any suggestions wld be appreciated..

d fone is very gud whoever wants to buy it its a gud choise the only prob i hav witm d phone is dat like if u hav a sms in ur inbox n u wanna transfer it to ur save messages it always shows me the simcard is full if any1 can tel me how to transfer it to d phone memory n d save messages only take in 11 messages n can any 1 tel me how to support d wav files u can contact thru my email dats catherine_lovebird@yahoo.co.in

its a cool fone gud features,n a gud sound.the only prob i hav is i wanted to know how to transfer the sms frm ur inbox dat is like u know when ever i try to send it to thesave msgs it always shows me sim card full so is there any 1 who can tel me how to get it in the phone memory.n can any 1 tel how to support the wav files im using the w550i so if any 1 could help me plz u can send me the answers in my email dats catherine_lovebird@yahoo.co.in or call me thanx

i would like to know dat when u have ur sms in d sim card n u wanna transfer it to the phone memory how do dat or else its a very very gud phone n who n whoever wants buy it,its a very cool fone n onemore tning is dat y dont dis fone suport d wav files plz do answer me ill be waiting u can answer me in my email or call me 9831635163

this phone from SE is best design & model that any one can make.It has awesome sound quality with or w/o earphone. Camera is also Nice and it can take AAC audio format. good display & it`s more funkier that any other Walkman phones especially with orange colour.

Im using Sonyericsson W550i for almost a year
It has a Superb Sound and good display screen
good camera phone. but time pass by it starts to lag/hang and its headset its not that comfortable to wear in your hear cause a lil move on your head. one piece of the headset will put out on your ear.
but over all, this phone is ONE HANDY DANDY PHONE TO HAVE. Its Small But Terrible.!

hi all..just wanna say that this phone is really fun to have..i bought it on April last year,until now it doesn't have any problem at all!!sounds are superb,great menu,no lagging like motorola.it is easy to connect with my pc,just like inserting a pendrive n pc will detect it.
u can transfer any files(pics,themes,mp3s) easily,just copy n paste it wherever u like.
i love all the functions in this phone,only 1 function that i'm still not using which is remote control.
hopefully 1 day SE will remake this model to have a mem.card,n also slimmer than this one.everything about this phone is great!!worth for every penny u spend.. =)

I bought SE W550 last August and I was forced to get other phone a couple of days ago (one of the advantages of working at Staples, my boss let me trade :p :) ). The problem was I needed to replace the phone's battery twice in just a bit over four months. First battery was literally swollen and it lasted less than a month. The second one lasted longer, but it lost all autonomy in less than a week. One day it was fine, three days later, it would last less than 24 hours in stand-by.
After this, lots of people told me SE is sadly famous for battery problems. I don't know how much of truth there is in that... nevertheless, I chose a Samsung model to replace this one.

W550 model has a vital problem. When i used is out side of enclosed door, the reciver of my call cann't hear my voice. Noise overlaps my voice.So,Reciver can hear the noise clear than my voice. In noisy environment S/he can't listen my voice.Except this w550 is the best in my choice list. Camera is quality is medium.

i like to buy this phone! but u see ppl say it has only 256 of mem ( i feel this as a drawback)! then what abt 550i?is that same as this one?well,i need a cell that has 512 or even more? suggest one if u know!!!
