lovely trady litlle handset, impressive 256MB memory i love the unique swivel action i don't any other handset on the market with it and i talka lot and i have no problems with this beauty is got a gigantic 16 hours standby time i love it

Yep w550i works with mig33. Doesn't seem to disconnect as far as i know.

by the way, this mobile rocks! i bought this 2 weeks ago. It would be perfect if SE W550 does have the function to adjust the keypad's volume.

hello!
i just bought my W550i last two week ago and this phone really rocks! i call this unit the swiss knife of all mobile phones, it has 3 speakers, earphone, 3 of the coolest game and the very uniqu feature of this phone is whoooping 256 mb and the swivel thingy is just a head turner.feeling ko ako si james bond ng phone kong ito.

Among few W550i mobile phones, there would be some taking the same picture,same time in same place with different quality, do you guyz think that's gonna happen? I used this phone once b4 and i guess it could perform in a satisfying quality if you adjust the shootng mode. Indeed it was kinda inconvenient but i guess it is just the only defection i can found in this phone

hi guys
i had bought new brand sony e ricssons w550i a week back but now its not working. when i switch on the phone the screen turns on showing white color and nothing else.functions are also not working and i have to put off the battery from the cell to turn it off. please help me if any0ne of you knows the solution. will really be thankful to you for that.my e mail id is worstillusion@yahoo.com

For PTW4: connect it to a pc (again). When it appears in the Windows Explorer (as a USB Mass Storage), if you have Norton Systemworks, try to fix it with Norton Disk Doctor. If you don't, you can fix it with Scandisk. Hope it helps.. =)

The solution: I reset my phone (Reset All). The problem when resetting the phone is some pics, themes, video and the firmware are also been reset/erased. If the "white screen" does not been removed or you can't access the phone anymore, bring it to the nearest Sony Ericsson Center to fixed it.

The "white screen" occurs when you play/execute a java apps/games then it hangs. Or sometimes it occurs when you open the phone. My experience is even worst. I was playing a game, then all of a sudden, it hangs. i couldn't stop it, so I remove the battery. Worst, it cannot be opened. A few hours, at last, i've turned on the phone but it hangs when it search for the mobile network. For 1 1/2 hours, i can access the main menu but it still hangs.. I recommend: buy W550i from stores that Sony Ericsson is the distributor. The phone may be imported to china or taiwan, then stores sell it a low price.

256mb memory is enough for me.. the reason why i still got plenty of space is becoz i compress some of my mp3 files in a 64K bit rate.. they still sound like the 128K.. it is becoz of the good earphones.. right now i have 28 pics, 45 mp3 files, and 6 short videos and still i have 139mb left.. its price is worth its style and function.. imagine u can have a phone, a digicam and a good music player in one for a very low price.. and i think here in our country.. they say that the "white screen" causes ur phone to stop working and displays only a blank white screen.. i still don't know very much about it becoz i still didn't encounter that kind of problem.. hnpin mu nlng po s frndstr ung NAME: javi-two SURNAME: santos.. ayw q kc ilgay ung eadd q dto eh.. hehe
