There is definately some problem with the Battery.I got a new brand sony erisson 550i phone 3 days back and have charged the battery to the full capacity. And my battery gets discharged within 7-8 hours and that too I don't use that phone in those 7-8 hours(just the phone is Switched on w/o any application running).If I use the phone to receive and dial around 7-8 calls with avg duration of talk for 3 minutes each then the battery gets discharged within 2 hours.Its really sucks!!! Is anyone facing this problem with the battery????

no it doesn't play mpegs..only 3gpp

Hello Madhooo!
Just Sony Ericsson's luck - they provided the simplest SIM card loading mechanism & people still face problems using it! Anyway, just slide the rear panel downwards and pull it away. Pluck out the battery. Now, push the SIM card further into the slot. It will automatically slide halfway out on releasing it. Just pull it out then. Simple!

This phone is gr8. can anybody tell me how to remove the seam card. Removing the seamcard is a big problem.

Hi Casey,
I had problems with my CD installation so put my songs on in the following way. When you have the song that you want copy it and then open up My Computer, then E drive and then save it into the music or mp3 or one of those. I also saved into audio I think which is where you can save them so that they play as ringtones too. If you download games do the same thing but save them into applications. Then when you turn the phone back on after disconnecting from the USB cable, you can open the applications on your phone and then put it into games.

I GOT MY W550i.. hi guys possessing a w550 is a great feeling considering the all round capabiliy of the set.. the loudest in the market it's just awesome.. i'm 5% disappointed with lack of the memory card but that's where disappointment ends and pride takes over. pls tell me how to enable any jave game to work in landscape mode. and can i use my pc connected via bluetooth to make and receive calls through the pc?. pls send sum good sites too.

to ankit: u should wait for w810i...its worth waiting i guess?...i have this phone..and SE have to change a new set when i only got it for 2 wks..so think twice..almost everything in this is great except for camera and keypad...camera no macro mode no auto focus..keypad..all squeezed together and extreme shallow..the sound quality..again its superb!!!...its a fun phone i can say...my friends all love it but not the "fatness" they say..

Nice phone. Cool features. Nice proce. But i have to wait for the Alcatel OT S853 (2.1 speakers) in order to conclude which phone has the better sound.
