does sonyericsson do any action to correct the problem regarding the cracking keypad? b'coz it has been a common complaint for the owner of this phone.. I mean do they change the keypad already so that the new buyers would not have the same problem..

this phone blows, its the worst phone Ive encountered, 4 of my keys have cracked in less than 2 months of having it and it's freezed on me, the only thing good about it is the music and picture quality other than that it has nothing going for it.

I've got the bluetooth properly paired up with my w580i already. Theoratically speaking, if i just get a bluetooth that has A2DP profile this phone should automatically do it. However, it's not happening with my phone. I can't listen to music via a non-stereo bluetooth headset. It did work with my friend's nokia, however. So anyone out there who may have an idea?

can anybody tell me... should I buy W580i or W910i.. which one is better in performance, design and the sliding mechanism?
In features of cause W910i is better.. i heard W910i has slow interface, is it true?

wee i really like the phone but i can't find out how u suffle the music by shaking the phone could someone e-mail and posably tell me how to get that workin!!!

this fone is brilliant ive had it 4 about 2 weeks now n its had not 1 problem! n 2 all da ppl hu say it was loadsa problems then obv u cant use a fone n shouldnt hav 1 coz this is the best fone ever it has loadsa space for music witch is perfect 4 me n loadsa otha features that will hav u amused for hours!
i recomend it 2 every1! xD

I recently bought dis phone,arnd a week back n lemme tel ya...its fantastic,simply amazing...i fail 2 understnd y ppl r facing so many probs wid dis set..i guess u ppl need 2 learn how 2 use a phone frst!!!...As far as d functionin goes i feel it is a little complicated but apart frm dat i hav so far not had ny complaints abt d keypad r d battery...ya,talkin abt d battery ...its simply awesome...it is better dan d nokia phone i owned before...music quality is truly praiseworthy..camera gives excellent pics in sunlight but u shld try d night mode option @ night it's better off thn othr phones wid camera...slidin 2 has no prblem....battery doesnt drain at all....I hav 2 sumtims literally wait 4 d battery 2 get draind inspite of listenin 2 music 4 hrs n talkin 2....
I recommend dis 2 evryone who wnts 2 have d ultimate experience of music n style.

I LOVE THIS PHONE! :). i bought it on saturday and im still playing with it. but u guys were right... the battery dies in less than a minute. but thats my only complaint. everything else is cool about this phone. :).

i juz bought this phone last week. all in a sudden one of my keypad cracked in d middle. ohh gosh.. dat service center fella told me that the first batch of production will face this problem. so bear in mind we should not buy new hp. wuahahaha....

hey guys im having problem transfering files from and to my phone with my computer. It keep saying "could not copy file or folder" everytime i try to transfer a file to my phone. Please i really need help thanks a lot!!

if you wanted flash on the camera u should have bought a camera phone not a walkman phone its main specification is walkman no camera

Try in Settings->Connectivity->Bluetooth->Handsfree. After you connect it, you should see it in Connected Devices.
As for playing music, i'm not sure, because i haven't tried it yet. I suppose you simply turn on your headset, and play music, being sure that you have connected properly the device as i told you before.

I like this phone except i have one question about it. The phone supposedly supports A2DP with an A2DP compatible bluetooth headset. However, when i sync it (plantronics 520) with my phone (w580i), and go to the walkman menu, i don't see an option such as "play via bluetooth". I'm positive that this headset has A2DP cause i just did it on my friend's 10 mins ago (different phone)... Could anyone tell me how to get it working?

How is life back in Nigeria.
By the way if you want to know the price of the phone in Naira, then itz simple. Please convert the price of the phone from US Dollars to Naira and finaly when you decide to buy the phone, contact the SE Dealer for the exact price & there would be a slight difference between the price you converted from dollars to naira as compared to the local price there whch the dealer is offering. But I guess you can always blame the converson rate for that as the converson rates fluctuates everyday.And on second thoughts, you know what, you may end up with an amazing bargain, because by the time you decide to buy the phone, I assume a few weeks wud go by & then when you are in the process of buying the phone, you would get an amzing price for the phone as the prices keep dropping as the days go by.
I guess that should take care of the problem.
