as much as i love this phone, i gotta post this warning...

black version of this phone sold by at&t does not come with any memory stick. the white one was donwgraded already by at&t to only include a 256mb stick (from 512mb that sony offers for the unlocked version). what the hell is a music player phone if you don't have a stick to use to store your songs? anyway, i had to find out for myself when i got a black version from at&t... so just to let you know if you're thinking of getting the black one through them, you'll have to buy a memory stick seperately.

i just bought it 2 days ago and don't know how to use this . I thought it will have 3g but unfottunately it doesn.t have.
i really liked this pfone espesially thew design

Two of the buttons cracked within a month, so I sent it to Sony. 2 weeks later, they sent a new phone back saying something about not having enough time to fix it.

You can shuffle to change the songs by pressing the WALKMAN button below the "Return"... press and hold it and shake it.

Phone might not be durable in terms of keypad but it is actually tough.... I dropped it once yesterday and twice today and once i dropped it on the middle of the road..... it still works perfectly fine..... ROK!!!

I would like to know if the keypad problems are country specific or is this problem a general Sony Ericsson factory "cheap skate" fault I am completely in awe with its desig n and looks but I am also concerned about the durability and economy

heya dont get the w580i its the worse phone in the world the keys crack on it and it hardly ever works properly ive moved form the w580i to the w910i n my got its so much better not had any problems yet i love it

Why does the buttons crack? and how do the crack is cause people press the buttons too hard because i heard in other peoples review/comments that the buttons crack!!?? plz could someone write back to me because i'm gunna buy thos phone soon so i need to find out write back!!! thnx

I got this fne off orange on contract i have had my contract 2 month nd in tht time i have had 3 different fones i am nw getting a different hand set the features n stuff r ok but all 3 kept jamming up n the buttons kept snapping!

i bought tis phone one month ago. when i bought tis phone, my enemy say tis phone so bad....give her also dun wan, n she say tat tis phone "ba po n ba gong" use oli , high class ppl give also dun wan.... bt nw she also buy tis phone{w580i} ...when i noe tat she use tis phone i very very angry.... she name is soo hui san....

Well this phone(W580) is the smartest phone ever.Every time I am on the internet i log on GSM arena to check it out and vote.I really like this phone very much but i dont av one yet and I intend to have one for sure.this phone rocks.
But those of you who are saying that this phones is a craps.You are surely in the same sacks of those who does not know how to use and take good care of a phone.

ei guys i just bought this fon yesterday and i want to ask on how to shuffle it by shaking this fon plz....bt so far the fon was amazing and better than my previous fon which is N5610... this is one of the best so far...

Than i have no idea why it isn't working for you. I'm almost sure the phone has A2DP profile. But i haven't tried a bluetooth headset yet; i don't know, maybe it's an issue you missed when installing it. Sorry, no more ideas.:)
