i just got this phone & its the best of all the phones i've ever had. the music is loud and clear.. and there are so many functions. the color, wallpaper & theme are the best...if your thinking of getting a phone you should get this one YOU WONT REGRET...

i have this for just over a month... before i got it, ive read so many complaints about the keypad... i still got it inspite of that fact simply because i really like it...
and ive enjoyed it ever since getting it, no problems with it whatsoever, just a little careful when using the keypad because of the complaints from others...
so needless to say, if u wanna get it, get it and just take care of the keypad part. u wont be sorry.

Hey guys, i just bought w580 a week ago and some files in the phone are created by 6/7/07. Does that mean my phone has key crack problem?

Get this phone if:
- you'll use it more as a cellphone than a text messaging device
- you like a feature packed phone
- you don't use your phone as your digital camera as well (occassional picture shots only)
- you like the Walkman interface
- you like a nice looking phone not just in the picture but in person as well
DO NOT get this phone IF:
- you'll treat it as a text messaging device. you might as well get yourself a SIDEKICK or something with a qwerty keypad because YES, the keypad is fragile and it WILL break under enormous texting conditions.
DO NOT COMPLAIN about the the keypad breaking IF:
- same as the above
IF THE KEYPAD BREAKS A SECOND, THIRD, OR MORE TIMES:
- it's YOU that's the problem, not the keypad.
It's getting old seeing people crying, biotching, pouting, and complaining non-stop about the keypad of this phone. YES, they are FRAGILE, probably one of the most fragile keypads out there... But if you handle it with extra care and taking it easy pushing the buttons, you should be fine and you'll like this phone. SO STOP THE MADNESS and don't comment on how the keypad sucks... everyone knows that by now.

so based on your comments this phone is not durable and long lasting? am I right? you'll be paying that much for cracking keys??
I am hoping to have a phone that will last for atleast 2 years!
And sure this is like a nokia 5300 but with a much better design!
Overall which is better a nokia 5300 or SE w580i considering its keypad issue.. please help me decide guys...

its a bit over priced cell, samsung is offering a 3.2 megapixel camera in same price and motorola z6 is very cheap compared to this.i m a bit confused.....i liked the cell very much but......it costs 13200 in india

its really a cute cell, but its really a over priced cell....why buy this ven u can get 3.2 mega pixel camera for the same price....its 13200 in india and same price for samsung u600.sony's w580i have a whole lot of prob. tooo
