TO TERENCE
You need to push downwards firmly but gentle to remove the battery cover. It can be a bit tricky but you need both hands. I posted a comment earlier about this about 5 comments ago!

Hi everyone, i am getting this phone in the future, i tested it a couple days ago and was also wondering about the battery cover, how do you remove it for replacing battery or sim card...?

did you know that if you hold down the walkman button and shake the phone it skips to a diffrent track you have to hold the button down tho):-)

help! my phone when black but I can still receive calls!I never dropped or pressed on the screen it just mysteriously froze while I was using the camera then it just went all black at once now I lost my receipt for rogers and cant change it damnit!!

This does take a 2GB mem card as I have one in mine. I have an MP3 for my ringtone, no probs there.
RE. HOW DO I TAKE OUT SIM
You just push it in with your nail like you put a mem card in a camera for example and it'll pop out enough for you to take it out. To take off the battery cover can be a little difficult at first but once you slide it off you'll get the hang of it. You need both hands and push down gently but firmly.

i've been using thiz phone 4 aLmost a month
Thiz phone iz cooL but wahat annoys me most is the keypad!!!
onLy lwss than 2 weeks he keypad has cracked!!!!

i tried putting mp3 with the cd, still it says cannot use as ring tone. this is annoying. even wav format cant be used as. who got a locked one that can play mp3 as ringtone?

Yes, the memory card is expandable.
Inserting a 1GB memory card is not a problem,
but I'm not sure of 2GB ones as it may not support perhaps?
The sliding portion may lead to a great disadvantage that it may become loosen and shaky as it is made out of plastic.

any network branded fone will not allow ur own mp3 ringtones cause thats how networks make more money by u bying theres.....sux..i know...u know wat u gotta do : )

yes, java games can be stored on the memory stick. actually, that's where they are stored by default i think
