I have a 4gb card in mine with over 2000 songs and plenty space left and works fine!

Theres no way the phone can only handle a 1GB M2! That's outrageous! A Walkman phone that can only handle a few hundred songs?? Not likely. Especially since the S500i can handle a 2GB, and thats only because I haven't tried a 4GB on it yet.

2- If you're looking for a phone with a good camera/video, trust me, you DON'T want the s500. The k550 at least is a cyber-shot and has autofocus - video is always a problem with SE phones, quality is just not good enough (at least, for me it isn't, I was used to my old Samsung D600, that had a nice mp4 video recording thingy:). BUT the k550's camera isn't very good when compared to other cyber-shots.
And, who would want an s500, anyway? The keypad keeps breaking and you have to replace it one time after another. Tsk tsk, SE...

A Couple questions.
1. Is there really any difference between this and the S500 other than the colors and the buttons on the front?
2. Im looking for a phone with good camera/video & audio recording and overall just a fun phone to play around and have fun with. Should i go with the K550 for around 250 or this for around 290 or the s500 for around 290?

The keypad is not good. Another site show that it is very fragile.

'Locked' means that you can only use the phone with a card from a certain provider. If you try inserting a sim card from another provider, it will not work.
With an 'unlocked' phone, you can change providers without having to change the phone.
Usually, providers not only lock the phones, but they also add or take something from the 'initial' configuration.

dude, ive lived in dubai my whole life so i got no idea about the detail...i just know that there are some places you get phones on contracts or something and the provider has locked some of the features.
im not 100 percent sure though. anyone else wanna try??

i just came to know that...there is no landscape mode while capturing images. we can't hide menu during imaging. is it true?

Just got this phone and think it's awsome!! the only thing that dissapoints me is that there isn't a light for the camera, but other than that loving it!!
