I have had this phone for 9 month and its really nice with a very high sound speakers.But for more entertainment the Sony Ericsson w995 is better

i've had this phone for about 2 years now and it has been incredible, but the only thing is that a few days ago all the buttons on the top bit have stopped working but other than that, it has been a really good phone.
I would recommend getting this phone as it is well worth the money.

deepthi, 02 May 2010i am using sony ericsson w580 phone from past 2 years.... ... morethe cheapest place to get the keypad is ebay. other online cell phone parts sell for $25-$30. go to youtube and type in "disassemble w580" and there are a few clips that shows enough on how to take off your keypad. I am going to do the same with my wifes phone but i am going to also switch out the lcd screen and replace all new covers, keypad, and buttons. hope this answers your questions.

gajen16, 03 May 2010im gonna buy 1 if my s302 couldn't be repaired.i cant wait ... morethe only bad thing is through time the charging port starts to oxidize and it won't charge the phone from having no contact so alway try to keep the charging port clean. My wife loves this phone... she won't get any other phone. she love the FM radio and the speaker is by far the best I have ever experienced clear and loud

i am using this mob.from last 1 year and i am totally satisfied with this phone and features.camera clarity is good and voice is fantastic.this phone is extremely good

i am using sony ericsson w580 phone from past 2 years....
i like the service of the phone due to which i'm not willing to change the phone...
i want to change the key pads .... can i get the information about changing key pads??

I have hand mine for three years een washed the head phones and all which by the way aren't cheap but my socket to put them in is playing the fool but other than that works like a dream but it's time to trade it gae me good sevice so far but i am a die hard nokia user so good luck all

For all the features this phone has, it is really sad how I got a hold of a lemon. It comes with an ARM processor built-in, which means it's a smartphone in a regular cell phone's wrapper. I was not able to (I broke mine before I could), but I would recommend that you buy the 8GB Memory Micro card for it. Be careful not to download viruses with it.
What is really weird is how I loved my jacked up lemon of a phone - too bits! I used the USB data cord included with it and I inadvertently downloaded and installed some cell phone viruses. Ever since then, the phone would cut out on me at the worst possible times. But no matter what I loved this phone anyway. I loved the FM Radio. I loved the wired headset that came with it. I loved the USB data cord that came included. I loved the sliding functions. I truly miss all those things.
Try to find a decent cell phone today, with a really nice FM Radio and get the USB cord included. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Take my advice: if you break this phone, then repair it. Keep this phone at all costs, because it is not likely that you will find anything comparable for a long, long time.

Now it costs about 69EUR in Portugal.
Not cheap, but not terribly expensive for an old model.

One of the best phones I've had. Durable, lots of features, a few quirky ones like walk around the world feature. Step counter etc which I wasn't expecting. Another feature is different light activity from the sides. Very girly!
Very good sound and lots of memory (2gb) with the one I got. Cameras OK not the best but it's a walkman phone so can't expect much. The only gripe I have is that the back of the phone came off one day and didn't fit very well a bit flimsy. Over all Great!
