i had this phone for a year, and last 3 weeks ago my phone cannot turn on, then i sent to the shop n they said my cpu was damaged, but i dun believe them. I had xperienced it before but still got warranty, they just re-format my phone, now i need to figure out why my phone cannot turn on. i scared if people out there trying to cheating on me. i still want dis phone....

Battery life drop substantially with in a year of careful use, which makes it disposable model. Since Warranty is only for a year, retailer. 9 hours of talk and 370 hours of standby time. It’s the one if the worst of not the worst phone yet.

this is the coolest hone ever it fell in the water and i felt like crying coz twas like i had lost a loved one thats how dope the phone is now want to replace it with the same make ,but were do we get spare parts of the phone they are scares.But in al the phones i have used i dont want another sony ericsson w580i is just dope

everything thing about this phone just turns me on.i have this phone for over a year now and it runs like a new one..i would be nothing without this phone which consists of so many cool features..u guys deserve golden awards for inventing a"TO DIE FOR"machine

My husband got me a W580i as a bday/wedding gift from Malaysia. I've had it for a year now and I absolutely love it the following features:
*the cool pink champaigne color
*Shuffle Walkman
*Light effects
*My Shortcuts button (favorite button)
*Back button (easy way of exiting an application, etc. - just hold it down for a few seconds & it' returns to the main screen)
*Volume buttons - did you know that not only can you adjust the volume using the buttons on the left side of the handset. On the main screen, if you press either of the volume buttons the phone status will be displayed automatically.
*Fitness (shows you the distance you've walked, # of steps, calories burnt)
*Contacts (personalising each contact's details)
*Alarms (very useful & user-friendly)
*Organizer (user-friendly)
I've dropped this baby so many times but it's still in top condition:)
Hmmmm, the only things I don't like about this handset is that they 2 keys are cracked & all the other keys are almost cracked too. You can't add a lanyard or phone tag because it'll come off. Also every now & then it'll freeze up or sometimes when you make/receive calls you won't be able to hear the other person. When that happens it's best to turn off the handset and then power it up again.
I am loving my Sony - it's totally ROCKS!
