it sucks . my bestfriend Iman Aslan used this and it sucks just like the owner . the button are cramping . and the battery drained so fast .

its hard to text on it because youre fingers hit the bottom of the part that slides up but other wise its a good phone

Battery consumption is too fast. talk is ok but when we use as music player then battery drained very fastly.

Its really a cool set. Nice slider look and feel is excellent. But its firmware is little bit slow and sometime halt. I personally face the firmware halted problem.

Sony Ericsson W series is excellent except w580 because this is the most faulty cell in w series.

how much is the expandable memory to this model... though the co. is giving an 1GB card included?

This a great phone I had it for more than a year and is working like the first day , it is unlocked and work around the world perfect, never had any problem
I use with de S-60 speakers and the music is great

I bought this product just three days ago and after that its starts showing up some defects like it drains its battery in less than a day and I would have to charge it twice a day. And the shake control thing that it has it is not working like I almost throw it away when I was using the shake control of it and it is not changing the songs at all. Its a piece of crap although it has very outstanding features, well some of its features its not even working...the quality of the pictures is relatively clear but this is not the only thing that you need for a phone right..and the technical service that they have its a crap....=C

my service provider give me gprs and it is working and when it get to a stage the gprs delete automatically

I am using this phone for past couple of months now. No such problem as many peaople are writing, like breaking of keys. The sound & picture quality is very good. Only problem is battery life, my phone usage is not much but I play games a lot and the battery lasts for only 2 days.

I don't wish any1 no buy this fone, 'cz it's very fragile, the keys on my phone are breaking and... it's turning off by himself!

For the music its the best one and also the ear phones rocks.the cam of dis mob is awesome man,for d look its the best piece ever with lightin effect on side.the cam is is safe beside slide so the lens cant b damaged

my name is venkey. i taken sonyw580 on january2009.basically it is a slider phone so good for looking and cemera clarity is too good but it's alwayas
swithoff and hangout when memory is overload so dont buy this phone piz piz

i used this fone for like 3 weeks oredi.after using for 2 weeks plus,when i was sms-ing,i noticed dat i nids to press the "space" button abit harder than before.but,i love this fone very much cuz its unique,both of the sides gt light.speaker is loud and clear.small and slim. =p
