to the one who comment under this one, to take sim out, take out battery, then the sim u should see, push it to eject it... it may not come out all the way, may need to use a pointed object to pull it out all the way...

my phone's left SEND key stopped working. the keypads are cracked... aarrgghh!!

I got this phone new from the phone shop in which i work. I loved it from day 1 but the battery life is poor. Even after 2 new batteries and a trip to SE themselves it's still got the same problem!
In other words lovely phone, crap job of battery life.

ive had this phone since november (i still have the warranty shit) and my top left keys dont work anymore, and most of my keypads are cracked. and i want to trade it for pink lg shine. do i have to get this phone fixed frst and pay extra in order to get the lg shine?
...is that possible?

i juz got my phone a couple of days ago n am in love with it ;)
bt the battery backup is not good :( one hr of talk n the battery is down :(
i've alwz had Nokia models which had amazing backup!!!
n also i dont know how to connect my mobile to my PC

im seriously thinkin bout gettin the phone next week but i dont want to get a phone if i cant put a signature at the bottom of a text and i dont want it if it doesnt have t9. anybody?

I've had this phone since start April, and most of my keys are cracked! Sent around 1500 messages, and I'm not happy!
O2 are saying they will have to send the phone away for repair, and will take upto 4 weeks to come back!
Is there anything I can do to get a replacement because it was clearly faulty when I bought it...!

you can transfer the images to ur computer in couple of ways,
1) USB data cable -connecting it to phone and computer and the comp detects the phone on its own
2) by bluetooth also u can do that by turning the BT on in settings-->connectivity-->Bluetooth-->on/off, your computer (laptop) should have the BT functionality (drives & software) for this feature.

Hi I have had this phone for 8 months and the left SEND key stopped working. My cousin has this phone too and the same thing happened to him. The keys have not cracked for me since I almost never text, however two of my family members are texters and both of them have had their keys crack. Other than that I LOVE the phone.

Had this phone for approx. 6mths. Keypad cracked, freezes and battery charges approx every 24 to 30hrs. Not too fond of it either.

I'm getting it as a replacement for a W300i that got broke-warranties are great, especially if you use em right at the end.
The person with the video sending problems..
As far as I know it isn't possible to send videos that come with the phone. The same holds true for backgrounds, games etc. The programming's locked somehow.
The person who can't open the files..
It could be that the files are saved onto the memory stick. With the W300i this is a seperate file from the phone which appeared in the My Computer section (im assuming youre using windows). Im not sure if this is the same in the W580, but it probably is.

i m using this phone for almost 7 months....and my frnd bought this handset today, he got very good new videos preinstalled in the memory card.
but when i transfer this on my cell, it shows that the content is locked.., when i click unlock option....it shows,''page not found''.
can any1 help me in unlocking those videos?????

Can someone please help me with this problem ?
When I use my USB to transfer the pictures, the FILE, I mean the Sony Ericsson w580i comes. . But when I click on it. . No files like PICTURE, VIDEO, etc. . comes !
Please help me. . If you'll have a solution to my problem please tell me. .
