Love the picture quality in the daylight. Takes better pictures than my k550. Except in the dark and without the flash!! Very good music quality. I got it in grey :). Got i about a month ago, the keypads haven't crack yet. Still perfect conditions. Hehe

I just bought the phone today.. and I was wondering how come mine didnt come with a memory card? I couldnt transfer anything from the computer into the phone. Do I really need a memory card to do that?

I have had this phone since Feb, and I would have to say that I love it. My buttons cracked just like everyone elses and with the warranty they replaced my phone, now the buttons feel different, not sure if they had changed the design on the keypad or not. The graphics are good and it plays music and video great. If you dont do a lot of texting then you should be ok other than that I love this phone.

I've had this phone for about 3 months, I honestly cannot stand it. The first month the button had cracked, and in about 2 months.. the LCD screen had cracked. Now that it's fixed the back part of the battery won't even fit on properly, this phone is absolutely horrible.

I loved this phone when i got it but after a week out of its warrenty a button cracked i got have started to break and now 9 buttons have broken. they say all they can do is replace the keypad which i thik is just know elp as it will happen again. This is a good phone other apart from the buttons but i wouldnt get this phone if your wondering whether to get it. It is just plasticy and cheap.

igot this phone on my birthday.........in december...2007. b4 i got this i ad the old w810i........n personally i think it a exact copy of it but jus smaller and good lookin. but over all i lik the phone. only thing i dont lik abt it is the buttons. it makes a lot of noise wen you press dem in the night(bed).

Ah.... slide phone this is one durable phone... i am serious!!! i dropped this phone a lot of time... since.... september 21st.... its still in fine condition.... the keypad issue isnt much of an issue if u can ignore it like me... it cracked but u can still press so why complain??? CHEERS!!! my w580 is now 7month old!!!

I got the W580i in grey with a 512mb, for my birthday. I have had the phone since december (6 months), and it has already broke. The buttons started to break after three months, then the camera broke. It is the worst phone that i have ever got, it looks pretty and everything. But what is the point of having a phone that is pretty, if it doesn't work. My friend who has got the same type, her buttons have broke, and now the back and up buttons don't work. I advise anyone not to buy it.

I got mine last week (the white one). :) And it's functioning well. The only problem I got is that the battery gets empty quickly. But I still love it! :D

I agree, pls don't get this fone if u text alot...wan2 listen 2 music alot or play games alot... YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED

I have had this phone since october 07. i think this phone is great, but the problem with mine is that the buttons are cracked. and my navigation buttons, such as the call, back, and up button doesn't work... so i sent it in to fix, hopefully they will fix it soon. the battery also dies too fast, like most people said. but i still love my phone though.
if you text a lot i suggest you not to get it.

the buttons don't exactly work well. The menu button, the light, and the button to scroll up doesn't work very well. The number buttons also. they break easily.

Hey guys, just bought this phone a week ago and have yet to have any problems with it. It's the Grey version (08w02) that came with 512 MB M2 stick. I got it from Rogers if that helps any. I'll be checking this page out from time to time to see if there are any replies I can help out with.

i am planning to buy sony ericsson s500 ..i just want to know that if music is not my priority then going for s500 is it a good choice as most of the other features of s500 and w580 are similar.....is it any other difference in s500 and w580 (apart from the walkman and the shake feature)..i hope that the body of both the phones are similar (equally strong)

i have this phone a week but the battery charge is so week . i cant play a music albom completly . i must charge my battery twice a day.

any1 else have this problem where when 1 Gb of memory in the m2 card has been used up u are unble to recive data from other devices even though i have a 2Gb memory stick
