to update your message centre number you have to contact your service provider as it is unique to each network

Just bought it for 150€ wich i thought was quite much.. i still think so because it's just a phone eitherway.. But i was looking for something with music too so i could listen to it on the train to school. I'm actually pretty glad i bought this phone and not another samsung or some kind of crap^^ In short, great phone! for now that is.. time will tell if it's shockproof too:p

yeh his is good but it has some defaults. like font size,no mark option for sending more files

It is a really good phone. Ive been using it for 2 months. So far no problems. Its really value for money. Excellent Video Recording Quality... Sound is also pretty good. Good phone

The W595 has a very good sounding walkman player inside.
Camera - average
Battery life- Excellent
Voice Call Audio Quality-Very Good to Excellent.
Stereo Bluetooth Audio streaming - Very Good, but choose a good memory card or you will notice speed fluctuations.
It also works far more reliably as a laptop data modem than a lot of other phones at similar price points with sony ericsson pc suite 4.0
Major Flaws- the numberpad is substandard and likely to fail even if not used a lot.
Quite why such a great phone has such poor quality keys is something only the manufacturer must know.
On purchase i'd advise getting all your numbers into memory so as not to use the keypad and extend it's life.
An example is on mine the * button just failed (i may have pressed it 7 times in 10 months) and it just doesn't make sense that this should happen.

does anyone know i can get rid of the internet lock. it was never on it before and since i got a software upgrade i now have to put in a password and pin to get onto the net and this is stopping the track id from working. it's not under security or internet settings as far as i can see. please help, it's so annoying

Is the phone slow when playing music? Is this common or some problem only with my phone? I have a 2gb card that comes along with the phone. I had upgraded the software as soon as i got the phone so not sure if it is causing the slowness.

can anybody tell me is there a pin lock on the w595 i know there is one if you turn the phone off completly and then switch it back on but can a pin be used if i lost my phone to stop anybody from useing it
