Shaun, it has megabass. what resolution? the display has 176x220p, but still decent..
rupesh, cam quality is very decent for walkman phone with the range bout US $200..

hardik, Im so surprise that your w610 like that.. u should ask for reparation or change with new one with your dealer..
me n 3 of my friends have w610 n until now theres no problem..
superb multitasking phone base on my experience, can handle 6+ app at the same time.. walkman, game, app, inbox, etc.. :P

excellent phone. am extremely pleased for the money. great walkman player, camera and phone all packed into a nice shape and weight. highly recommended

I have read all the posted emails and it seems that this is an amazing phone!!!
But I have read that it does'nt have a high resolution and it does'nt have Megabass, but what i'm confused with is that some emails say is that it has Megabass and a high resolution!
So can you please help me!!!!

The cam quality is decent. For a 2 Mega Pixel camera it is above average because it has autofocus. You shouldn't have any troubles, but then of course it is a phone camera and that will not rival a proper digital camera.
The sound quality is NOT better than an iPod Nano, or any iPod for that matter. Very few mobile phone MP3 players actually rival a proper MP3 player in terms of sound quality or loudness at the moment.
Don't ever expect an all in one device to beat a dedicated device. Not for a few years at least!

this phone is best for u peeps who is confused on with phone 2 buy(w810,k550&k810) this phone is best but wen buyin it buy de black not the white the sound is great in dis phone i not 2 sure bout de autoforcus in de carema but i plan 2

choose w610 if u wanna have camera with autofocus..
yeah, w610 camera beat n n73, n5610!! but not at poor light condition.. :(
the sound quality better than ipod nano..

the w610i is my current phone,pretty good features,superb walkman sound and player and rugged phone.I love this phone because it dropped a lot of times and it still works like charm! a standing ovation for this phone

i just buy these phone and this phone have a SDMega Bass lol Nice phone... but the camera is bad shot in dark....hiks

Yes, you can put an 8gb m2 card into the w610.
I dont think SE updates their older models.

dark shots is w610's weakness. But when there is good lighting condition (outdoors, gardens, living room etc.) it will knock out N73's 3.2 MP.
Sound is superb. I suggest you buy headset HPM-64, has better bass than the bundled HPM-70.
If you want to update the firmware, just go to the nearest Sony Ericsson Shop near you. Glorietta, MOA, Megamall etc.
