i've had it since it is out and all I can say is that this is the best phone you can buy @ this price! Nothing comes even close.
4gb memory works fine! Very quick load times. Multitasking with this divice is superb! Thanks se!

iwant to switch my phone from W850i to W610, is it a good idea? coz i'm still confused which unit is better.

hai, my friend in india bought this phone, actually wats the internal memory my friends mobile having 74,gsm arena says as 64.then evrything about the phone is nice and very sexy, while using the navigation keys there is a waves forming in the bottom for the screen next to the navigation keys,jus like wat happen in lcd if we press the screen,any guys noiticed it ?as iam new to tfd i dont know wats wrong, we cant compare the sounds to ipod, ipod is the god of sound,se doesnot have 3.5 jack,but its enough,if u want vey good sound effect go to ipod,I am going to have mine this month,worth buying

poor keypad,screen not clear causes (TFD screen),camera average but the sound are really good..

are you sure 4GB M2 card works ? Please let me know if you have tried it and it worked or else I'll just go for 2GB card.

This phone is around $215-$225 on Ebay ! pretty cheap

this cant be compared to a iPod this W610i just kills the iPod
W610i has Walkman 2.0 which is the best Music Player

.....dont judge the butttons by its picture

in real life this W610i is a great phone and MP3 Player Walkman!

I'm a big fun of sony ericsson-- very hip and cool features, the only thing I hate about it is that when u transfer music from PC to phone it takes forever, 20 songs takes 20 years to upload,it looses the sense of its name Walkman. it is always nice to have a regular phone that you can use to txt and call and have an Ipod for ur music. =(

W610 sound is Good But the Camera Result is Very Bad i buy the phone, but whn i see the result of camera i feel i veast my money.

hi, I have sweaty hands and I would like to ask does the colour of the keypad and other possible parts of the phone can peel off like the ones in K550?

maybe you are referring to the burst mode.
burst mode allows you to take successive pictures with one click.

w610 has a 1/4 burst mode only. it means it can take 4 successive pictures in one second.
a firmware update is necessary, i think, to enable you to capture 10 shots at a time.

This phone is much much much better than i expected it to be. I am a SE fan, but i was tempted to buy a samsung g600 as k850 is too expensive at the moment. I read some bad reviews about g600 which put me off it, but i did need a new phone. I actually decided to buy this phone at the last minuite as it came with a free DAB digital radio (something on my girlfriends xmas list-sorted!) and a £10 voucher from the place i bought it from. At only £100, i was expecting it to be ok but nothing special, however its brilliant! Music playback is fantastic, the camera is very good and has autofocus and a flash, its navigation is easy. The buttons arent as bad as they look to press, they are relatively easy. It has a nice design, its very slim, its lightweight. Its just such a fantastic phone. Shame there isnt 3g on the phone, although i find that is something i normally like to have on a phone but never use anyway. Despite my previous phone being a k800i (which has a phenominal phone camera), i find the camera on my new w610i is perfectly capable of taking a decent photo. I really cant think of any negatives with this phone, and considering the offers i got with the phone, it was most definatley my purchase of the year.
