Is it true that the battery is poor quality?? A friend is trading me her phone (w610) for my Nokia 6681 (old model but my battery lasts 2 days and is very reliable) and she say that her battery only lasts 7 hours!!!! I can´t understand why she want my phone if this phone is so good (based on the positive comments from here)

I bought this phone about 4 mouth, wah~ still look cool and good functions. The speaker is great...loud and clear. I like it so much.

SE w610i is much much better. Nokia 5310 is a bit more expensive while SE w610 has better camera and walkman player. The only plus for 5310 is its 3.5 mm. Go see the top rated phones page, SE w610i ranks second after N95.

The sound quality is top-notch. Can't expect less from a Walkman phone.

I don't see why people r complaining about the time and status not being displayed in standby mode just hit one of the volume buttons and backlight will come on for 4 seconds displing time and status

It would be grateful if GSMarena could have a review done for this phone. its one among the high rated phone, and fits well within the price range for a basic phone. And features are good enough. Its a great one to go all the way.

If u interest in high qulaity photos then u have to choose sony ericsson K series, and if u interest in high quality sounds and music support then choose sony ericsson W series!

and oh yeah, when you connect the cable to the computer, you don't really need to install the driver in the installation cd because the computer will recognize 2 storage drives, the phone's and the card's, just like a flash drive.
if you don't like your se earphones, you could also use other brands that you prefer.

in response to the guy who asks whether he could use files coded in mp3 as ringtones, well, yes. you could also use other formats such as wav, aac, imy, and amr.
this is a secret but you could also use these formats as your alarm tone. i am currently using Low by Florida as alarm tone (mp3), a woman in orgasm as ringtone (wav), and dota monsterkill as message alert tone(wav).
to the guy who says there is very limited customization, i really beg to disagree because i am customizing it almost everyday. but customizations eats up a lot of battery life so i minimize them.
