got it 2 days ago. everything is fine, not much complaints, except for the key pads and buttons.. thier kinda small, not used to it.
camera is ok for a phone, Sound is fantastic.. Ringtone is even better... really loud, better than all other SE phones.. except SE k610/k618i, thier even louder.. hehehehe.. overall value buy for a good phone, recomended 8 out of 10.

Hello, ive read a lot of comments about this fon.. but heres what bothers me..
Disadvantages :
1.Yellowish camera
2. Shutter is not good enough
3. Missing of lens cover
4. Speaker is not soft,only loud
5. Slow response when type SMS
im botherd with the number 5, slow response when type SMS.. is this true? i read comments there but i just encounter this once.. does this not bother you all w610 users? i hope someone can confirm/comment on this..

It's possible to flash the 550 to 610 software, that means you get the good cam from the 550 with the walkman player from the 610. For the rest there aren't much differences, only the design. I woulnd't spend money on a phone that's almost the same as the one you have now.
BTW: one ? is enough, and can't you talk in whole sentences?

About Video forwarding ....
if u want to fast forward a video file then u should open it using the video player under the Entertainment>Video Player... but it u play video directly from File Manager then u can not pause or fast forward it.
About Stereo Widening....
Yes SE W610i has got this feature ... but I never liked it, especially when using headphones.. :(

M USING K550i cybershot .....and its a great set.......but b4 dis i used w 810i .....550 is better in shape , design keys ...its slim etc...but the music player of w810 i was super....especially mega bass on headset....but it not had stereo widening...k550 has stereo widening...
now m planning 2 buy W610 i ...should i go for it????
w610i has stereo wid ... or not???
and is w610 i betta than k550 i or not???
wat abt its camera???? i have read that camera is not good????
b/c m supposed to spend 6000 RS/- i.e more than a 100 dollars........so m thinking that whether i should go 4 it or not? if it is better and more impressive than k550i so let me noe pls...here at gsmarena user opinions w610i........
and if its not that impressive than which set i should buy???? nokia 6300,nokia 5700 or w660i

just to clear sum specific flaws about this fone:
Screen: its a TFD which consumes less battery life but displays pic a not noticably less sharper than TFT. u cant see this properly in the sun or bright areas as well
Camera: Camera quality is good; wen ur viewing da pics on pc. u can zoom in on 2mp mode but if u want, take pic of the object in the centre so u can go to gallery in widescreen view and zoom in and save.

hey guys....
I bought this phone last month and am loving it... it got most of the features that i wanted....
Could anyone tell me whether the fast forward option is available for the video like the way we do for audio?

Audi: I think what he's trying to say is that, the camera on this cellphone can't be zoom when it's set to 2MP, you can only use the zoom feature when it's set at 1MP or VGA.
On video mode on the other hand, you can zoom it regardless if it's set to high quality or not.
The battery last (in my experience) 23-24 hours nonstop listening to mp3 player, with calls and texting in between...
personally, I love this phone...great value for the price.

about that zoom thing...the problem that is has is that it does nt zoom when its set to 2mp camera,neither does it zoom wid 1mp camera,it only zooms when the camera is set to vga...its the only minus point i see...however it will zoom in does zoom in the video mode wheather its 2mp or 1mp!

w610 speaker is louder than the one on the w810. Battery life seems to be very good. I love this phone...and when that 4gb card comes out...it will be one of the best walkman phones out there!
