Yeah you can use games and apps and themes made for K750 and W800, it works well, these are basically the same phones and yes I also think the limit of 200 sms is ridiculous, with so much internal memory it should be unlimited.

With original earphones, not very loud, but with other stuff like Shure E2c it will blast your ears.

Just got myself this phone for around 250USD and all i can say its been great so far, performance-wise and feature-wise. i love the animated interface and its sturdy construction. its a phone which you will not be ashamed to display in a board meeting yet trendy enough to use while jogging. no auto focus is just a minor kink in my opinion.
can anybody pls tell me how to save messages in the memory stick (or is it possible?) coz i have around 100 messages in my inbox right now and i already have a warning that my limit is at 95%. i dont get it, with nokia u can save as many messages as u want. pls help thanks!
nevertheles, i love the w700i. the best phone iv had by far.

I tried to use to phone for a sound recording that lasted 1 1/2 hours. When I attempted to play back the recording, it did not work even though the system told me that it had been saved. Is there a time limit to how long a recording can be? And here is a note to the Sony Ericsson people. It would have been nice if they had a record from radio function!

How can inside of anyones pocket work like a sandpaper, it is usually made of cotton or silk. It usually gets polished from my experience. The only worry I have is to turn on the camera when putting the phone in my pocket.

Nice phone, but I would strongly recommend buying a cover, preferably a crystal case if your're going to be putting this phone in your pants pocket. The walking motion and taking the phone in and out of your pocket works like a sandpaper, causing abrasion of the edges of the phone. Especailly if you wear tight jeans, this process is greatly sped up. So protect it.

I bought this phone back at the end of July. Got it for 1000 AED from Dubai. Included in the box was the phone, a 256 MB MagicGate MS Duo card, charger, USB cable, RCA component audio cable, Walkman 'in-ear' earbuds and a W700 software CD.

When turning the phone on, you have the option of using it in "phone" mode or "Mp3 player only" mode. When using the mp3 player only, continuous playback easily pushes 28 hours on a full charge. The phone has a nice display, crisp and clear, albeit it's a little small. So if you're used to QVGA screens like in Nokia smartphones etc, the transition is a bit disappointing. However, the phone has a nice comfortable size, so it doesnt feel like a cinder block in the pocket. Keypad is easy to use, though people with big fingers will have a little getting used to.

Performance from the phone is pretty solid. Good voice clarity when making calls, and its even better when using the earbuds. The microphone/earbud cable has a standard 3.5 mm jack, so you can use your own headphones if you want to. To transfer mp3s, just use the USB cable and the Disc2Phone software to load up the MS Duo card. The mp3 player is really easy to use, and has a very straightforward interface. You can even set a 5-band equalizer to customize pitch of the sound, and the famed MegaBass option is also available. There is hardly any lagging when going through the various menu, so using the phone is a pretty good experience.

FM radio with RDS is good on the earbuds, and picks up channels pretty well. Bluetooth pairs seamlessy with all my other devices. Battery life is not bad, and even through heavy use, battery conks out after 2 days.

Well, the camera has a few drawbacks. No autofocus. Also, there is no zoom at 1600x1200 pixels, only 2x zoom at medium size, and 4x zoom at smallest picture size. Why SE did this, is something I don't understand. Though you can take some very good shots with a VERY STEADY hand, and fiddle around with the settings to take optimal phots.

One more thing... I was having a bit of trouble playing .wav files, even though the phone recognizes them. Maybe someone can clarify that issue.

Overall, I think this is really a bang for the buck type of phone. It's loaded with features at what is a very reasonable price.

I bought this phone 10 days ago, its a very neat phone!!!
                                Great features, excellent battery life!!
Music player is flawless -- as good as any other walkman phone.
My only concern is that sony ericcson provides only a 256 mb card along with the phone -- they should provide 512 mb card.

I got this phone two days ago and I am pleased with it. The lack of autofocus and smaller memory card are minor details. If you want the autofocus and bigger memory card, go for the W810i.

The camera works well enough. If you want to take great pictures, you might want to consider investing in a good quality camera. With 2 megapixels (or 3.2 megapixels for the newer and more expensive models), you are not going to get the million shot.

The radio and MP3 player is great. I store my music in WMA format and the disc2phone software that came with the phone converted it into MP3 format seamlessly with the tags intact. The sound quality using the Sony Ericsson earphones works well enough for me. Again, if you want something better, a dedicated MP3 player might be called for. But just to put things in perepective, a good set of headphones would already retail for around half the price of this phone.

This phone is for people looking for an all-in-one gadget that will not break the bank. It synced perfectly with Outlook in my first attempt. Now, I can carry my calender with me so that I will know when my next appointment is.

Yes K750 and w800 is the same phone, they differ in case, memory in the box and handset.
In my opinion u better buy a K750 than a W700 because k750 has autofocus and if u want more memory a MSD PRO it's very cheap. And also i thinck that K750 has a more pleasant design than W700, but it's only my opinion! Have a nice day !
