Yes K750 and w800 is the same phone, they differ in case,memory in the box and handset.
In my opinion u better buy a K750 than a W700 because k750 has autofocus and if u want more memory a MSD PRO it's very cheap. And also i thinck that K750 has a more pleasant design than W700, but it's only my opinion! Have a nice day !

Hi,
Yesterday i have sent my opinion abt w700i now from service centre i cant mgs saying that camera Board problem.
They have to send to HO from there has to replace please service is waste.
I will post feeback guys ( Any one giude me how to move). not even one month.

I just bought this master piece yesterday, n I am really happy about it!! It has a good interface and faster speed also. Its worth buying this piece than Nokia. cheers!!!

Check before buying
I have purchased w700i sound magebass everything cool but (In Camera there is setting Option in that SHOOT MODE in that FRAME MODE I cant click picture if i click image not visible please do the needful I cant use lens also. There is no clarity & I cant take print out or develop also why we are purchasing camera mobile such a costly handset to take Photo's.

Hey everybody, got a W700I recently, and besides all comments I think this phone is the very best of all because of the features. Pls dont reduce the bit rate when loading MP3's to the phone as it would reduce the sount quality drastically. But the sound level is bit poor but very much acceptable.
If you are planning to put video's to the phone, first you have to convert them to 3gp format using a trird party software (which I foung in the siftware store) and put it to the relavent folder the memory card. Pls read the manuel and its all there. Video quality is good and you can store like 256 hours of video in 3gp format coz its roughlt 1mb per 1 min when you convert them. Pls contact me on this web site for any issue, I will try to help you all as much as apossible.

If u are looking for a good SE u better not buy w700! Try k750 w800 or w810 this ones have autofocus , in coclusion better pictures. W700 it's only a market strategy, K750 can run with w800 software ! DON'T BUY THIS ONE ! Go for it's brothers ! :)))

@rocky:i think .acc format is best as it takes half of mp3 size and retains the quality, though .amr is very space saving the quality of song is not that good

You have to store jar files in the "Other" folder to get then on the phone and the mp3s not sure, everything I tried sounds good, but I wouldn't go under 128kbps.

Hi, Its a gr8 phone, but how to install java games from PC to phone, in which folders shall i put .jar files.
Apart from MP3. which other music format consumes less space than MP3? which is the bitrate shud be kept for gud quality listening. Pls. answer ASAP

no autofocus.i drop my decision to buy this cute at the last minute ....... :( i am going to buy k750i tomoro. moving nokia to sony eric :)

Hi All,
I bought this W700i jus 3 days back ... and according to me its coooool -- this is my first phone so I cant compare it any other completely... But jus to share my opinions here ... Well 'W' is walkman ... so if u are a real music freak then this W-series is for U. Secondly Cam -- 2.0mp its cool (w700i-no autofocus) but I dont knw the adv of autofocus as far as my experience in this short period .. the pics are excellent.
Orginally shortlisted V3i coz of its looks and Itunes which comes with it. but doubted the battery
Then K750i Vs W700i probably K750i is better interms of its autofocus and also cheap but went W700i coz its first Walkman then a phone ;)

Got this phone last month. Great Performance. Got a defective Memory card with phone. Got it replaced smoothly. Music Player with megabass rocking....

Try using disc2phone application to transfer your wav file to your phone. It comes in the CD with the phone..
