i want to know that , can we use more than 512 mb card like 1gb in W700 is there any problem.

Could any one tell me regarding Battery life of W700, SonyEricsson mentioned as 9 hrs for talk time. is it true?

W700 is really an upgrade for w800 thats y its way better than w800 , autofocus is not required in most of the cases, Only 2mp camera is more thatn enough
and as far as memory goes both the phones support external memory upto 2gb .if yopu want more you can buy more
and i don't think i need to say but in terms of colour combination w700 is way better than w800
one truth: people who bought w800 earlier at an expensive price they are jeolus of w700 because at a cheaper price this provides same features and better looks

I locked the keys...still have the problem. I think it has something to do with where the lens is. When I semi-drop the phone on its back (where the lens is) the camera sometimes comes on. Even when I just pick up the phone, it will come on. This is beyond annoying. I take it there's no way to turn off the camera app. totally? Thanks

lock the keypad, * then the lock button.
You must be accidentally pressing in the Camera button on the side of the phone for it to go into camera mode...

Ashley, I never use the camera and the shutter is always closed. Problem still happens. I'll probably take it in to where i bought it and see if they can help. Thanks for the help

Fatz do u close the camera shutter when u put the phone on standby? Try that and it might help.

Hi, I just got this phone yesterday and there seems to be a slight problem. The phone will be at the menu or the screensaver will be on, and then it just goes into camera mode. This happens pretty frequently and it's annoying. Is this problem attributed to something, or is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

does any user of this fone uses a 2gb memory stick. , If anyone does, pls tell me how well does it work. it work well or not. Or can a 2gb stick can slower down the mobile
I have just bought this mobile and i am thinking to buy a 2gb card for it ,but scared that might slower down the overall functionality of the mobile.

Well there is only diff b/w w800 and w700: Memory Size: External memory in w800 is 512mb, in w700 its 256mb!

Well I guys i want to share a few thoughts regarding this phone.
I have bought ths phone just 20 days back. Its awesome, cool, superb, whtever u like.
Its solid in performance. Music player (Walkman) is good, nice quality.
Its looks are nerve breaking, very trendy and sexy!
Installing data cable in Win XP is very easy and a two step process.
U can set MP3 as both ringtome and msg tone.
It has excelent camera, 2 MP... It can record vdos (10 secs length max at one shot). But mind u vdo quality is poor! but camera is awesome :).
I will post one sample image taken from my mobile camera for u guys. Enjoy! and dont forget to add comments!

Hi friends...
I kindly request you to clear one big confusion i hv at this pt of time. Wat is the difference between w800i and w700i. I love the w800i and was plannin to buy it. But now there's this w700i which is so similar to the w800i and is cheaper too...
They say that w700i doesnt hv the auto focus facility in its camera as compared to the w800i's and comes with a 256mb card as opposed to w800i's 512mb. Could u pls tell me wats the significance of an autofocus in a camera and wat differnce will its absence make?
If there r ne more diff, kindly let me know for which i'll be grateful. I gotta buy one of these very soon....

Andrew, the phone comes with a 256mb ms duo and one can use upto 2gb cards or even 4gb cards (not tried). And Ravi, i dont think they are gonna review this phone as it is the same as the w800.....Read the w800 review.....Tata!
