Had this phone for over 6 months. Very happy with it. Many comments about the slider. No problem with mine. Everything works jujt fine. Maybe the screen is scratch prone. Easy to use menu, and phone in general. I strongly recommend this one if your budget is not too big, and use your phone for calling, texting and not too heavy browsing.

I have this phone but this phone is not easy to charge. The charger sometimes cannot detect and after 2 hours, the battery is stll left uncharged.

I had this phone for over a year now. I do not hate it, but i do not love it either. The SonyEricsson logo at the top started to peel off around the 4th month or so. the "W." walkman golden logo is also gone. Both logos were not high quality stuff, or at least not using the quality adhesive. The slider is starting to get "sticky". Wifi is alright. facebook is all text based, can't view photos on it any way. Some sites do have pictures you can see but have to zoom in to see using Opera browser. Battery is alright, but will need to be recharged after 5-6 days of standby. Hands-free speaker on the back is very average. The sound coming from it isn't very clear, and when using hands-free speaker with a phone chat will have a considerably delay time on the other end and maybe even some cutting off. Time for new phone!

i tried to connect internet through WiFi in my office using mode W705. It is an open network. The network was connected whenever i turned on WiFi in my mobile. But while browsing, it causes an error like "Communication error. Try again, turn off Wi-Fi or contact your provider for support." Any one can help me, what is the problem happening here..

gajanan, 16 Oct 2010Hi there, Could you confirm if w705 has the feature mega ba... moreIt has a Bass Enhancer although i would recommend Sony Ericsson W995, which is the Step-Upped version of W705. It perform tasks faster (W705 loads huge phonebook superb slow and startup is extreme slow too. Don't need an audio adapter to use earpiece which is required on W705. Lastly, on top of it all, W995 is able to perform much faster, increasing loading times and graphically in terms of 3d java games.)
