I.ve got this handset it is good due to the wifi, need to update the software, it to use the shake it control, also common issue come up no network coverage, and incorrect battery please use an SEM battery, software upgrade aswell resolves this. Phil Regenersis repair centre

worst phone i have ever had shuts down in the middle of conversation for no reason keeps coming up with emergency calls only and no reception dont buy one a bucket of ****

I didnt know that this phone when you play music, you just need to shake it to let the song go forward. BY the way i just bought this phone 2 days ago. Look stylish. I like this phone so much. Can even go to Google map. A lot of functions in the phone.

To all U audiophiles out there... tomorrow i'm gonna get a new pair of earbuds.. i'm getting tired listening to my Sony MDR-ED12 so planning on getting a philips shh9700 or she9550.. Which one woulde be the better of the two? she9550 shows almost the same spec but costs 400rs less... should I go for shh9700 or the cheaper she9550?

this is a great phone.never had a problem with it so far in the 4 months of using it.you can watch bbc iplayer on the phone.there is a slight negative about it thoughm,the battery life is crap as you keep having to charge the phone about 3 times a day.but its still a really nice phone.whoevet has a problem with the sony ericssom w705 probably dont know how to use it and have no idea about phones.

hey all, i want to share some of my opinions toward the phone.
i got the phone for 2 months now and i do love the phone. The only thing that bugs me is the wobbly slider.
later on, i started to get used to it and now it does not bug me much.
some of the + are:
-clear and big display
-4 gigs of memory
-slim and pocket size friendly
-the materials used are not a fingerprint magnet
-excellent battery life (i recommend to switch the phone to GSM mode only if you don't use 3G that much)
-accelerometer is nice :)
-nice applications installed (YouTube, Google Maps, or even Facebook)
-easy to use user interface
however, there are some - such as:
-camera takes blurry picture
-wobbly slider
i don't use phone camera that much so it doesn't bug me.
slider mechanism is poor. well, i guess u have to get used to it.
overall, i do recommend this phone. i would rate it 9/10. it is a worth buying phone.

I got this phone a couple of days back... I'm not sure how I feel about it right now. The phone is good. Easy to use, you won't need a 20 volume manual to tell you were to go to do what. Screen display is good - i like to read ebooks on my phone and it brightly lit 2.4" screen is fantastic!! Also, sunlight legibility is passable for me. I was hesitant at first about the keypad seeing as its flat but after trying it out, i find that its not that uncomfortable to use - except for the fact that being a long time Nokia user, I got used to pressing the 0 key for space and now i need to press the # key - pressing the keys give you a distinct feedback/soft click. the slide mechanism seems kinda wobbly so if you are not careful when you use your phone, I'd suggest getting a bar phone instead of a slider - any slider. The walkman key on top is okay I guess. Its just that I feel a little uncomfortable to press it and shake the phone either left or right 'coz it feels like the top part of the slider will break the phone. when you press the slider it creaks a little. not very much but you'll hear a creak or pop every now and then when you press that give a disticnt feel that the slider is not that sturdy. Its a finger-print magnet. Every time I use see the screen full of prints, I get this urge to pull out a tape and play CSI-ish. Being a walkman phone, I was expecting it to have like a really loud speaker. Don;t get me wrong, its loud - but I wish it was much, much, much more louder than it is now. I like the earphone that went with the phone. Though to be honest, I was expecting the earphone to have the same color as the accent of my phone - I got the Passionate Red - I got plain black ones from its retail package. I even had the sales lady open other boxed of the same unit - red and silver - just to check that my earphones didn't get switched or something but it really is just that black ones. (I know you can buy red ones but I was kinda hoping that it would be a match for the phone that I have. Something that I found funny about the music in this phone is that prior to my downloading the MEDIAGO software - my box did not come with the CD installer - I can upload MP4s on my memory card but I can't play it on the phone, thru video or music/file manager or media or even Video Ringtone. After downloading the software, I then found out that I have to manually adjust the properties of each MP4 I was going to upload, change it from video clip to music video, for my phone to recognize it as such and play the video on the phone. Is it just me (because I'm not used to its PC Suite that I seem to have nmo idea how to go about it?) or is it really this hard? Camera is decent enough if you have good lighting when you take pictures and when your hands are steady when you take a picture. You have to remember to stay a couple seconds more after the click so picture dont't end up blurry because you moved. I knew the phone's feature was not focused on the camera so I was half expecting something like this. I'm fine with this since I already have a pretty good camera. The pictures are decent enough for a 3.2 mp fixed focus cam. I so love its activity menu/running application button. As I have mentioned, my java ebook reader is always on so Its nice not to have to close the book im currently reading just to answer and text or switch the music track to the next song. I'm a little sad about the battery. Its pretty decent I think but with me using Java - its constantly on - and a couple of texting (I'm not a huge sms fan), little calls here and there, animated wallpaper and some 2-3 hours of music playback, my phone only lasts about a day and half to approximately two days. Its an okay phone for me. I wish a couple of things were different, like the walkman key on the side for easier access and autofocus on the camera - i'm not asking that the camera be at par with the cybershot line, just having autofocus is decent enough for me, remote control on the handfree. Don't get me wrong, I love the phone I have, quirks and all. Sorry my comment on the phone was longer than I expected. I just wanted to share my thoughts on the phone while I'm at it!!!
