hey guys any one have purchase w705 if yes pls tell me hw is phone is there any problem in using it and i recently heard that the walkman don't have such effect like w700i have pls reply me in details.

I have got the silver color of this handset. This is a beautiful phone I recommend you get the silver as it has got gold trim and a chocolate brown soft rubberized backing making the phone look delicious. In comparison to the W910 the W705 is better in every single way. The buttons are a lot more tactile responsive, the slider is straightforward up and down without the drag you get in most slider, the camera has not got an autofocus but it includes a flash which could also be used for a flash light and the volume rocker is better than the tiny weeny one in the W910. The looks and feel is very nice with the chocolate brown suede feeling backing and a gold trim is an amazing styling by Sony Ericsson. The 'walkman' logos are both in gold, the speaker mesh is in gold and the charging slot has got gold colored connectors. The back of the screen which is revealed when phone is opened is brown and the keypad is also brown with gold accents. Whoever wishes to purchase this phone may I recommend the W995 as it is the new leading walkman. This phone is great in features it has got WiFi, comes with 4gb memory and a zeemote which is a joystick for mobile gaming.

Bong Mab, 02 Aug 2009Why this Walkman serie has no MEGA BASS equalizer?phoe like w705.w902.w980.w995 didn't have mega bass,but clear bass.clear bass is only for those high-end walkman series phone.i definitely prefer clear bass as now i usin w705.

milind, 03 Aug 2009i am thinking of purchasing s.e w705 is there any problem w... morew705 slider got a bit shake when i buy its.the navigation keypad seems nt comfort to use compare to w910.alphabate keypad is nice to use.storng stand-by time for me.

I am using this phone i hav small issue i cant record wh... moreyaa man while whn u rcd call click on option thr u ill find recording option.
its by default itself from Sony itself.

not worth considering. I had the phone for 2 weeks with poor reception from day one. returned it to get assessed by sonyericsson its been 5 weeks now and they still haven't assessed it to give me a new one. not happy

Nice design but not a price worthable feature phone.
Lack of autofocus, zoom and GPS is really horrible now a days. Is there any problem in wifi reciever?
At my point of view wait for another good mobile from SE.

I would say the W705 is a good phone. It may lack in some areas, but a 9/10 is well deseverd

what is the difference between W705 and G705 and is WIFI good on either one of them??.....and any other SE models within the same price range worth a look??..
