many sony ericssion phones causes many problems.like not supporting java installions.sumtimes when u open games folder or application folder and shows that operation is failed.how to correct this is to download sony ericssion update service and u may solve the problemo.

this phone is definitely good but it looks to me as a full fledged copy of the nokia N95. Sony ericsson should come up with some business class phones now.

hey, does anybody know that this phone has built-in facebook application in it?
i saw one in the YouTube, but many sites don't tell that this phone has facebook application.

On the W705 my sister has just bought when you press the Activity Meny key there are no usual options-new events, my shortcuts, running applications - as on other SE phones. The GSMarena review says it has this feature but the user manual which came with the phone calls it a 'multiplayer key.'Yet it merely takes you to the main menu.
I there anyone with a solution for this?

got this phone w705 2weeks now & the first thing that annoyed me is the squeeking sound when u type message coming from the plastic back cover (why not made it steel same as the front?) anyways more to it during the week its doing fine & well then suddenly when i was charging, suddenly the display blinks OFF as in died in front of my eyes..so i rebooted it still its dead only some blinks of display comes (i swear its just lying comfortably on the desk--no banging nor dropping) In short after 2weeks my w705 is in the service center now, very sad me.

There is a list of country's and India is not listed . It's not good i would like to request and tell Sony Ericsson ( you sell your product in India and make good profit why is our country not listed. and even if i give US , it still does not work. and one more thing i feel if the outer speakers are not good and needs to have some more sound , W830i had sexy speaker phones and super clarity

To all who are complaining about the battery, did u c the specifications it says that the battery at 3G mode in standby can stand to 350 hours (that is about 14 days).
and most of u says that the battery stand only for 2 days, do u know why is that conflict? because most of us dont know the right way to charge the battery when we buy a new phone e.g (new battary)
U must keep the mobile charging for not less than 10 hours for the first and may be the second charging time. and that is because the battery stay at the shop or the store for months without using the battary so the battary become inactivity and to make it active again u must charge it at the first 2 times for not less than 10 h (even when it syas battary full or 100%) and after that the battary will be very good and u will charge it in the normal time

Hey guys dis phone is too costly Rs-15,900 in india.For this price only 3.2mpx, no Gps, only led flash and many tolds that there is a problem in wifi connection and if we connected the phone automatically switched off when we work more than 1hour

Have you tried surfing the web on your W705 using wifi... moreYeah i can surf the internet fine, i can check my e-mails etc over wifi.
But when i try to watch youtube it doesnt work. I get media server error.
It doesnt matter now, i'm gonna sell this phone and get something else.
