i tried a sample version in a shop and i discovered that the red version 1 button is really tough to press..is the silver colour oso very tough to press?

I just got this phone and it is amazing.
It has the occasional lagging but nothing major.
The camera is good for 3.2mp and if you want to make your pictures look better there is a photo fix feature which ajudsts the picture to make it look clearer and more natural, it's not really for serious photographing, just the occasional picture for facebook or the odd snap with friends, but it does the job.
The only think I was worried about with the phone is the numeric keypad, as the dummy version was very stiff and hard to type on, but the real versions keypad is very nice, not stiff at all and easy for texting.
The music player is as good as ever due to the walkman, yes I admit the speaker isn't very loud, but it's not quiet, it's just right for someone like me, normally Nokia's have the louder speakers so if you want a extremely loud speaker then this phone isn't really for you.
The sony ericsson UI is as good as ever and the bright large display is very clear :)
So far no problems with this phone and I recommend to all, you won't be dissapointed.
Oh and on a personal note, the black and silver version on O2 simple rocks (That's the colour i have)
Haha buy this phone if you're considering it :)

Hey i tried the update on the phone via setting.
It says i got the latest software version.
current software version: 1211-9608 R1DA032 090204

this phone is really awesome...features are veryy good like music with clear bass so that we can hear clear music with voice even in full bass..regarding camera its good..picture quality is comparitevely less than w580..bt very good and till now i hav no problems...

Try to update the firmware. I also had problems with my W705 because its the first batch. When I updated the firmware, everything runs smoothly.

I get an error stating:
"start error javax.microedition.media.mediaexception: Failed to start playback"
I have tried to reinstall the youtube apps, by downloading it again from the SE website.
If you got anymore ideas to help me fix this.
I'll appreciate it.

Use Sony Ericsson all the time and normally chane every couple of months. This is the best all round phione to date, Love it

Yes You can stream YOUTUBE via WIFI. Do not use the youtube on the media centre. Use the one on the applications folder. Then click options, adjust the internet settings to custom, choose yes for local connection, and Save.
Connect to wifi. Open youtube in application center. There you have it. Watch...

Do the messages get saved only on the phone memory or can I save them on the memory card as well? I am asking this because i have a lot of problem with the message memory running out and i have to keep deleting the old messages to recieve new ones. Its really annoying!

I havent tried with 3g because i dont want to pay data charge.
I'm going to sell this phone and get something else at the end of the month.
Its clearly not upto scratch, poor build quality, flat annoying keypad, cant stream youtube over wifi, the battery is poor
(I turned the brightness down to 50% to keep it on standby for 2 days). Also i dont want to change it to 2g because i wanted a 3g phone for video calling and mms!
