just bought this phone. it has wifi but i'm not sure how to use wifi for google maps or any other application (apart from the browser) which requires internet connection. do i have to have a gprs connection?

I went from the W810 to this phone. I was very satisfied with all it's new features except I didn't realize that the camera doesn't have autofocus. Without autofocus the pictures don't turn out very well and that's the only upsetting part.
I've read a lot of controversy about the keypad and it's not that bad, the only con is that the keys are softer and probably a little trickier and slower for texting.
Other than that, still a good phone!

I love this phone because of its music quality and big display ,also the keypad not hard to press at all .

Very nice size & good looking (I am a male but I prefe the contrast color of the red/black as compare to the silver/gold accent (The silver color may go better with people wearing a suit).
The keypad is not that difficult to use although it's consider a flat keypad. The rest of the phone is quite satisfying.
I brought the red/black one.

shu... moreWith the 3 choices, I would recommend the W705. The feature set of this phone is outstanding and it looks very beautiful with its metal aesthetics. The W-series tend to have great music output and the W705 really shines in this area. But do note that the W-Series are not really know for having a good overall camera like the K or C Series.
If you can afford to wait, you could get the W995 has all of the features of the W705 plus a great 8MP camera.

I have just bought this phone, it is my first SE phone and i like it soooooooooo much it is better than Nokia in many points and I'll recommend it to all who I know, the only disadvantage is that It have no GPS but u can know where u r by google maps and who cares about the GPS if u want a GPS by a separate one it will be better than any GPS in any phone. the sound is very good and the head phone is unbelievable I actually could hear it very loud and clear while i was near a very loud engine, and the important thing that u dont have to carry heavy weight in ur pocket as it is small, slim and light

i have this one.. (passionate red).. LOVE IT !!!
i think this phone realy complete and recommend to u all.. :)
maybe seems same spec with G705, but different in sound quality.. of course W705 better.. ^o^
camera, wifi, and other features working realy good..
as far as i know 'bout this phone, there is no problem and also no trouble (i've to prove)..
realy good stuff..
u can see in Voting Results for sure ( avg 8.3 ).. haha..

Does it have GPS. This website says no GPS, but SE customer care says yes even with A-GPS. What is the realty.
