Please help, 28 Nov 2008Just got the w760i and everything seems to work fine except... morePress the Walkman key twice and hold it till the songs appear. Do this 2 or three times. Afterwhich you will just press it once. This is a wonderful phone, very clear screen the downside is the Wi-Fi incapability and slow GPS.

How a... moreYes, this phone is worth buying. Get the red one cuz it looks better. I have the red one for about 4 months now, everything is great after i updated to the latest firmware... The sliding is good (much better than W580, W595, W910). The box includes (phone, battery BST-38, wall charger, usb cable, handsfree, 1GB M2 card, and manual...
The handsfree sucks though, its the the Walkman kinds. The handsfree should be HPM-70 but its a different model. Overal, i am satisfied using this phone, everything is great e.g. Walkman, downloaded my own games into it, Google Maps, GPS ect... This is the best SE i have ever used. Truly amazing phone. Go BUY IT!

hey all. many people complain about the software problems in this phone like lagging and freezing. are they rectified by firmware update? is the output sound from built in speakers really low? the review in cnet.com rates this phone among the top 5 music phones whereas gsmarena's review rates this as an average phone. which review is true?

I have an 8gb card in my w580 and have no slow down whatsoever. Only when going through the walkman when browsing artists, albums, etc, only because of more MP3 tags to be loaded, obviously there's going to be a slight delay.

Can't be bothered to go through all the hassle to send it back for a replacement for a feature I'm never gonna use as long as everything else continues to work.

Just got the w760i and everything seems to work fine except my walkman key. I heard it loads the music player, like other walkman phones but mine does nothing. Shake control doesn't work either. Shake control is not important to me but having a button that doesn't work bothers me. Could it be a firmware issue? I have 1205-2512 R3CA038 080721 if that helps. Anyone else have this problem?

Gggggg people can lei they dont like this phone then they post leis about this phone i have this phone and it never switches of and i never have problem with reception and i doent have any problem with this phone at al people buy this phone

dol, 28 Nov 2008Since SE already said that W760 compatible with 4GB M2 in t... moreya.... but when a 4gb m2 card was used in w910, the phone was slowed down.... as per se w910 is also compatible with 4gb m2 cards.....

Just bought two on letstalk.com for free! Love the phone only thing that stinks is there is no way to switch between running applications because att stuck there dumb media net button in its spot where it should be. Now all att needs is the x1 and the w980! no more iphone! more options please! You can download google maps on the att version, and tethering is a breeze with sony's desktop management software. What I like about sony is the good call quality in even lower signal areas, nice interface, and free software on there site www.sonyericsson.com/fun. and the mp3 features rock!
