This is a great phone, I have had no problems with it. I do agree that it needs a flash, the camera is only good in well lit areas,or during daylight. But other then that , it does a wonderful job for what it was designed to do. Also my wife has the same phone and loves it.

This phone is bad. I have been using Ericsson and SE phones for years but this one really disappoints me. I bought it only because my mobile service carrier uses the 850Mhz frequency for their 3G network, leaving me few choices on which phones I could buy.
The Camera sucks, reception is poor, and you get interruption on the earpiece for five seconds or so every one minutes during a call, no matter where you are and how well the reception is shown on the phone itself. The GPS function has never worked since I bought it, and the mobile service carrier has not been bothered helping me to get it to work. Also the phone randomly switches itself off and you won't realise it until you find yourself anxiously waiting for an expected call but not receiving it for some reason.
In conclusion, consider it more than twice before you buy this phone. I think the C series is far much better.

i was a production engineer from Flextronics Shah Alam, Malaysia. I was in-charge of this model, codename "DEENA". this model $ucks to the every single core.
if you have problem with the pictures taken, it's probably due to the chipped glass component, which is basically a design flaw.
also, if you have problem with the 3G, not the video call (you can't; it doesn't even have the front camera!), it's definitely due to the main square thingy which is a PoP solder issue. either not soldered, or solder crack. mind you, WE REWORKED SO DARN MANY UNITS. so watch out, yo!
also, you might have gotten yourself a unit with broken LCD. that's becoz there was another design flaw with the LCD assembly; operators had to PRESS ON IT HARD!
ALSO, if you experience lousy button-pressing on the navigation key, it's also ANOTHER design flaw.
WISH YOU W760 USERS OUT THERE GOOD LUCK TO THE POWER OF INFINITY!
*p.s.; the Project Manager $ucks, the supervisor $ucks, the entire team $ucks. especially some ppl who dictates other ppl's working hours.

The phone is really great, i bought it a month ago and till now no problems with it. It as a motion censer gaming(Need of speed pro street). Walkman features r cool, good loud spks. Overall its a cool phone to use.....

I just got this phone last week and so far very pleased with its features and performance. The only drawback I'd say about the W760 is the lack of Wi-fi.

lucasworld, 20 Nov 2008listen the phone is great, shame about the gps, when i even... moreGoogle maps works by triangulating your position between cell phone towers. Mine was always a bit off too. I have not tried my GPS yet, have no need to.

listen the phone is great, shame about the gps, when i eventually downloaded google maps on phone, it found me within 1.7km!! its a bit out, good luck with the search party
