Sony is planning to update all his products to 2.3 gingerbread by this july (x10, x10mini & pro, x8, w8) that why now it run 2.1.

I used the X8 for few months and I don't see any difference at all between this one and the X8 apart from the walkman logo. And that's really lame. Also I really feel for the buyers of this one as well because I guess it will end up being as the same story as x8; AN OUTDATED PHONE!

if they could make the ram 512mb, android froyo (so i can put app in SD), and make it 5mp with af, i definitely will buy this and sell my moto charm.. im a big fan of walkman in past, but now is android time. will be good if SE thinking to colaborate walkman and android

Well i think it looks qiute nice, but as said its like a twin brother of the X8 but i am looking forward to seeing this phone... the colour design is what i wanted in x8....

As i liked the XPERIA X8 and i always wanted a Walkman phone (since i saw the W300, walkman version of my Z530), i'm just waiting it...
And it will have the orange Walkman colour, as the blue and red ones.

why still run on eclair?
for now, maybe it's okay while we wait for update after it launch, maybe 3 months later. I just bought a Zylo whichis a walkman too to update my old W200i, and the rumour was tell that SE will make an android walkman named W15 but it's a fake. then it come in silent and realy shocks me! I really want it, REALLY. like a dream comes true when SE officially announce it, even it's still wit eclair, so I can make all my phone completely 'walkman'.

cmon s.e.. I know the latest android (gingerbread) is too great for small smartphones like this w8, x8, or x10 mini, but why don't u come with froyo? no installing app to sdcard is so frustrating I can't install a lot of games :(( eclair is so out of date

i may be excited in seeing this one in the homepage.. but really got disappointed when i saw the specs.. memory.. camera.. os.. and the color, it could have an orange one but if it still with black.. don't like it!
i still prefer the looks of my SE W800i white/orange.

Dont bother to think whether it has clear audio or not, this is android phone, there're many music apps. you can download from Market eg PowerAmp app. to improve your music experience. Not only clear bass, clear stereo or crystal clear, it can make the sound like nuclear - loud, clear and explosive!
