AnonD-5299, 23 Apr 2011Who said it didn't have the clear technologies?The specs in sonyericsson's website says nothing about clear audio experience (see for yourself under specification>music) whereas my Zylo(W20) and other phones like W705,W980 & W995 comes with Sony's revolutionary and award winning Clear Audio Technologies (i.e. Clear Bass & Clear Stereo) which is way better than MegaBass & can strongly compete with iPod. Without it, Walkman has Just the same quality as a Cybershot music player but with louder volume output.

600MHz Qualcomm SoC - It's Nice.! But 168MB RAM It's Too Low For It's Category, Atleast 256MB Would Be Nice.! :(

SE used the x8 so they don't have to spend on r&d resources thus enabling them to sell the w8 at (hopefully) a low price. It's meant for entry level market. (also explains the low specs) If this sells, SE could make high end walkman phone in the future.

When 2.2 froyo is near to be outdated, sony still struck with 2.1..Strange Android means updation buddy..

comeon SE , u were, u r & u will b d best in music, by adding walkman with android u did a splendid job, but 2.1 . comeon its time for gingerbread instead of an eclair in a baby's hand, as we already grown up. oops just a 3 mpx camera. where r ur revolutionary clear audio experience tools. have u forgoten all of these. what r u doin. make sure u have the greatest ever walkman phone in the market to rule the mobile world.

hiiii frnds i love walk man series phone but thanks to sony ericsson who give walkman feature in android phone i love the sound of sony ericsson phone only...i know its will be also awesome... others sony ericsson phone

I doubt its audio quailty even if it is a walkman brand phone screen size sucks.

whats the difference b/w a normal android x8 and this, its jus about the walkman logo given by sony, only walkman geeks will more prefer. nothin is gr8 than x8.
