chaithanya, 24 Jan 2012please any body tell is w8 upgradable to gingerbread 2.3...... moreno there is not update that u can upgrade w8 in 2.3 officially. If u do this so your warranty will expire and the device will be considered in out of warranty, and by rooting u can update the device but it might be effects your device internal features

chiggi, 25 Jan 2012i'm having problem with sending messeges...every time it sh... morecheck the massages center no.by press*#*#4636#*#*>mob. info>refresh then enter massage center no in semc box then update. if getting error= update error so kindli enter"+91massage center no",143 try with this, if persist the same problem so kindly check the sim whether it is 32 k or 64 k, because sony ericsson devcie supports 64 k sim.and try with another sim or factory data reset and take back up of the contacts

samm, 26 Jan 2012Its a very gud phn in my possesion bt wt it only lacks is ... morebecause in 2.1 version Sony Ericsson does not support this function.......................... although in 2.3.4 also does not support this , regarding video calling u have to download third party application, and in future 4.0.2 software is having video calling feature it self

viven, 26 Jan 2012when i asked in sony service center .. they said officially... moreyes you cant update this device officially. If you upgrade this so your warranty will be laps, and you cant get back the warranty any how.

its only a scratch resistant glass not sratch resistant surface, so this phone is easily scratch the edges of the phone, back and front. the three silver botton on the front is painted in silver, soon the paint is scraped just like the previous handsets of SE the D-pad is easily scraped. remember it is only scratch resistant glass, it sucks

nice phone,touch is great but three major drawbacks are internal memory(only 128MB),video calling and weak battery support.
