to jack:
quite frankly i agree to u that the w900 is better than this one. which i will get next week. but about w810 and w800? i think it's just the same. the only difference that i see this far is that w810 has an edge but reduced the phone memory to just 20mb which is injustice. btw design is a plus but "if" they released an alternate color for w800 which is black, im afraid to admit that w800 will soar higher than the w810.

Itz My Hobby 2 Change Mobile phones 4 about every month. But from when , i bought w-800 really my Heart not allow me 2 change that. I love itz shape, Beautiful Camera, Good signals, Its Weight.. Joy Stick with Orange Rubber Ball. Itz Amazing,,...

I have owned the W800i for 3 months now and could not be happier with my choice. I find that the screen is virtually scratchproof as I have, from time to time, carried it in my pocket with keys and change. The music playback is excellent and the features of the handset are impressive as well. As a music fan I would offer this advice:
Even though the standard memory card is large, I would recommend to get a larger card ASAP. I have just purchased the 1Gb card and this is more than enough.

Can anyone please tell me what to do about my W800i's bluetooth??? It just refuses to pair with anything, whether it's a phone or PC, and then it locks up and i have to remove battery to get the BT switched off. And don't tell me to take it to the dealer, as i can't be without it for 3weeks!!! Will a firm/software update solve it???

To adh and Japs..
Transfering files from ur phone to ur computer or vice versa and to save files into ur phone we have to use the USB that is provided. The thing is, most users have problem with this USB and the software that is given. SO, to solve all the problems regarding trasnfering files or saving files, we have to buy a card reader. It solves all the problem just like that! Or you can upgrade your firmware if you want to. Hope that helps, cheers..

w800?really gud fon,problem with mine is that if u leave for a while,the camera automatically turns on.its kind of tiring to turn it of esp when in standby coz it doesnt turn off easily. And wats up with it not being able to save the pics that i just took on its memry stick?it will take the pic but it just wont save it on its stick. A friend of mine is trying to trade his P910i with mine and i just cnt bear parting with it. Anybody who could help could pls do write me at my email add.PLSSSSS.HELP!!!

I love my w800. This phone is my first upgrade from a siemens and I have found the sony to work much faster.
I've also come across the music transfere problems but i solved them by moving my music from iTunes folders to my phone via a bluetooth dongle and i haven't had any problems since. I hope this helps other people deal with this problem.
