Hey guys,i luv this fone.but transferring music to this fone is turning out to be a nuisance!i tried sending it few times.it would show on screen that the transfer is done but when i chek the fone it doesnt send it to the fone.any ideas how to rectify this problem?im using Disc2phone software.

Hey friends, i live in india nand I bought this phone a week ago and i am very much satisfied with the phone. it is a damm good thing, specially than the nokia ones. nokia in india is getting very common and one shoud have soemthing that is uncommon and above all. so I suggest to get this phone but the only thing is that it is very expensive, the packing and the walkman's voice in something very very exclusive.
i love this cell phone.

besides the bluetooth functionality, are there any other crashes/freezes/hangs in the software?

W800i - the all-in-one unit. This is ur answer. Much better than silly D600 - tried it, had it, been there, done that(D600)!
W800i has all the D600's functions, and LOADS more.

although i didnt download the software, im still able to upload music n stuff.. but dose anyone know if the software is compatible with MAC. ?????

hi, i'm due for an upgrade and am really stuck between teh samsung d500 and the sony eric. w800. I totally can'y decide which is the better phone in terms of features and durability. I would be grateful if someone would let me know which is the better phone and why.

Hi,im planning to either buy a N70 or the SEW800i, but cant make choice.Also going through the opinions,i saw tht the foen freezes when doing a BT xfer & it restarts itself.Is it a common occurence?Please help..

can any body please tell me exactly how to install the USB drivers because ive had this phone since christmas day and still cant put on any music and its the reason i bought the phone. can somebody please email me with how to help

You can download the drivers from cd and connect the phone from any usb port.. It's so easy... It plays and records mp4 too... It looks better then W900 and no difference between them... Buy it...

Please help i got the sony ericsson W800i for christmas and thought it wud b simple to download music but i cant cos i cant download the USB connect thing if anybody ANYBODY knows how then please please send my a email saying how wud b very grateful

can someone tell me does this SE W800i have & support mp4 player? what's the file extension for video format? the internal speaker is mono or stereo? is this phone is user-friendly & what's the major problems of this phone? pliz let me know guyz bcoz i have a little bit confusion whether to buy this SE W800i or nokia 6630 very2 soon....pliz...plizzz... Oh Yeah
Let us not forget the record sounds facility on the (w800) place it on a joystick shortcut (mine is set so I just pull down) and the (w800) instantly records and saves your calls or external sounds, ie,memos, to the memory card.
It automatically stops recording when call is ended!
Why do I like this? Well how about a phone calls diary, a dvd will hold months of calls!
When and if I make it to seventy they should be fun to listen to!

Almost forgot, something else I didn't know I needed a great record sounds facility (w800)

Why do I need this, well I was thinking of starting a phonecall dairy! All my calls saved for all times sake, on a dvd, reckon i'll have time to listen back to them when and if I get to seventy! Ha Ha

Well lets settle one thing now.
I needed a radio (w800)
I needed voice dialling (w800)
I needed lots of music (W800)
I have 60+ albums over 1000 songs playing away on shuffle!
So I needed memory space (w800) 2gb card (950mb left!) Disc2phone works, just practice!
I needed a good texting interface!
How many buttons do you have to press to get a new line in a text on a Samsung? Or to add a symbol?
I had the D500 so no porkies!
Its 2 on the (w800) (# twice)when not in T9
Real smiley faces (Sony Ericsson)
I needed a good camera (many to choose from)
I needed video, but don't expect to make a film with it! (many to choose from)
I needed small (many to choose from)
I needed battery life, I have music, radio, calls, text, games going all day 8-10 hour day always about 20% left!
And I didn't know I needed this but I watch downloaded films off my computer via my plasma sitting in the sofa, I have a wireless mouse, but batteries die in it every six weeks! Guess what! The (w800) can control media player IT CAN! IT CAN! It uses blutooth! To become a remote control!
Yeah it seems SE have had software problems, but they are being sorted, I have been lucky
its only frozen twice in 2months!
So the moral of the story is get the phone that suits your needs! But if the W800 doesn't then, you must really need the TV out facility!

The w800i is a gr8 mobile much beter than k750i w800i has beter mp3 quality and much more memory

I found a better solution to ur problem.
Get urself a Motorola phone. You can log your Message Center with a Moto phone.
Or...
You can always change your girlfriend :)

iz it wise to buy the w800 or just wait 4 w900 2 come out...cuz i really need a gud phone n i'm scared dat if i buy w800 i will regart it....wat iz the disadvantage of w800, plezzzZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzz..!!!!!!!

its very good for mp3 lovers and its 2 mega pixel camera is good yet it clicks only after 2 seconds,you can print pictures in 5R and the result is impressive, but try not to shake your hands while shooting. it has similar functions that of a digital camera like fluorescent,day, cloudy and has a flash light. the video is satisfactory ,but mpeg for recording is much better if it only has it.
