hi, Can anyone teach me how to lock the phone. My girlfriend tries to see my private data. There are many secrets. I tried to find it, but I couldn't.

there has been problems with the disc to phone application, I don't transfer files using that... instead copy ur songs onto the memory stick manually by going through and putting the songs into the "audio" folder in the memory stick.
there is a text that talks about where tracks and pictures should be placed---> its in the manual u get with the phone

QUESTIONS:
1. how does it keep track of missed calls?
i know it logs 30 numbers. say if i called 5 times will it show up in the missed call log 5 times with my name 5 times?
or
will it show up in the missed call log once with the number (5) next to the name?
2. during a call, what fucntions do you have available?
with my current phone i can access all regular menu items while on the phone. the most important one for me is sound recorder.
can you record phone conversations with this phone?

My walkman phone starts to give me one hell of a strange problem now. Whenever i transfer songs to my phone using Disc2Phone, the songs transferred will suddenly disappear and the program will ask u to connect ur phone to the computer again! This is so sickening especially when u have waited sooooooooo long for your songs to tranfer into the phone and then poooffff! everything just gone like that!
Anyone experienced the same thing?

W800i and W800 is the same...
I just got my W800i and I recommend it to music lovers and for those who want good a camera...
--> I am also wondering if you can change the way the screen always goes black cuz i dont like having to press on extra time to enter the phone ?

i have just got a se w800i for christmas. my choice was between that or the samsung d600, however i already had the d500 and although the features on the d600 are ovbiously better they looked too similar. i have to say im very impressed with the w800i. the picture quality and sound quality are both excellent. the olny problem i have is when i put the cd in my pc the bubble with found new hardware does not appear therefore i cannot install the usb drivers to add mp3's to my phone. does anyone else have this problem? let me know please..thnaks.

2 things I don't like about my W800 (compared with my previoud Nokia): 1. The screen goes dark, so I can't see whether there is a message or missed call - if this is a screen saver I wish I knew know how to switch it off. 2. The screen freezes (I was playing the radio and a text/sms arrived - i.e. the freezing had nothing to do with Bluetooth)and the only way to unfreeze seems to be to open the back and remove and re-insert the battery. I'm not sure that either the battery or the back of the casing will stand up this if it's done frequently.

for those who were wondering how you could unlock the phone when you try to format the memory card or the the master reset try typing 0000 (four zeroes) it works for my se w800i

default lock code for SE is 0000.. w800 is so cool except it doesnt have any variants in casing..

Hi! thanks for the input k2.5 & lalisb. Just got back from my christmas break. I'll do just that, ill find a way to have the resolution reduced. I really do hope it works, i got this clips from the movie hostel and they're really creepy cool. thanks again. this is really awesome of a phone!

hi all ...i got my SEw800i for christmas!! yipeeeee!!!!! i've wanted a long time for this phone...and it was well worth waiting for!! its a brill phone and am amazed at how quick music etc is transfered by bluetooth!! hubby has got a moto V3 and when using bluetooth its so so slow!!...well the w800i has my top votes!!

512mb memory can take 80-100 songs (depends from the memory of the mp3) and yes the 512mb memory is included in the packet.

i have read from the previous posters about having this hung up bluetooth problem when they try to activate it,including me which i bought it last week. i also know some other friends of mine which have had screen freeze troubles. its a nice phone but if you want to buy it u have to be careful(test it before u get it).
