Excuse me but the "WALKMAN" is not a brand of Sony but trademark. By the way I have K750i and I think the sound quality has a big gap with K750i. A Better sound quality does W800 have and also a very afordable price!!!

the orange strip isn't that bad. its NOT REALLY bright orange. its very metallic. at far it kinda looks bronze-ish. the pic here doesn't really do justice. i think a black strip would be nice, too. but black and silver is TOO generic. BUt i know each has their own opinion.

"WALKMAN" is a brand of sony that pretty much initiated the portable media player industry (the cassette player). Technically the equivalent of a walkman from the 80's is the mp3 player of today (iPod). If ur an on the go person who likes to enjoy ur music, this is a perfect phone for u, because it's marketed for those people that listens to music AND use a cellphone AND also use a camera frequently.
Where have you been, man?????

ive bought 2 cases from ebay (a body glove and a black silicone) i use the silicone right now because it protects the edges of the phone. it also came with a screen protector which is a must have for a $470 phone. the body glove has a plastic screen cover but it doesnt protect the edges. both items came in at a great condition, and brand new. however, the silicon case i bought from hong kong so it took more than a week to get delivered (est. 2 weeks) just read the seller's feedback and check if theres any (-) within the last month. also expect the item to come in for 7-14 days if the item is coming from asia (mostly from hong kong) eBay isnt really bad at all. just becareful and read the description. make sure u check other places for prices cuz eBay isn't really the cheapest one out there. maybe for used stuff

the phone is very very good I love most of it when u play quadrapop the phone makes a funny sound and wh u get into the game it stops and the other music starts playing if some one could email if thy have same ptoblem I would be nice the mp3 player on the phone is very good sound is very good 2 the battery lastes a long time ?

Im using this phone and it has very bright screen,nice camera.Its headphones sounds good.the Bass elements are much better than any expensive speakers like Logitech,Altec lansing.But I'm gettng a problem that wen I recieve a ringtone message from nokia I cann't use it.

BTW, What iz up with ma fellow lezbaneze Mario, y so m2ayyar, ya3ni me ive been lurkin for months now goin back n forth from nokia to SE to Moto just to decide on which to buy for now and later...so my fuses are all burnt from all zis enno V3x turned out to be ok but all plastic and no innovation, nokia keep throwing same expensive 24k gold seemingly phones at us and SE keep replicating the same Walkman® features in ten diff. series W800 1st then W550 now w900 but size keeps goin back to those walkie talkie sizes of mid 1990's phones dont u think?!...and yes ma fihon ya3rfo enno haydol msabbet hehehe can u spell E-D-B-TZ?:P

WOW! so judging by the bus driver's helpful experience, this fone CAN handle flash memory above 1Gb and even 2Gb right?! Also does this record/play videos as much as there is free space in memory or is there a limit?
PS: Also the free W800 from Tmobike is definately a "jump for it" deal in North America since here in Canada aka Monopolyland ppl still dream of V3's for 99$ with 3yr contracts (Rogers,Fido) and other junky LG,Sanyo fones(Telus,Bell)& 2003-2004 models still being sold by these "Oyoura" cies...that just insults my intellect...

Had W800i 4weeks now.
Have had same disc to phone (d2p) problems as everyone!
But now have sixty+ albums on phone.
1000+ songs on "Sony 2gb high speed memory card" (£96 all in off ebay, new!) have 950mb left, songs transferred at 32kbps, sounds pretty good.
Sorted out d2p by doing one album at a time, then closing d2p and safely removing hardware (phone) checking album on card and then repeating process, for each album.
Once or three times album not fully there and had to put on again, but quicker 2nd time around because album already decoded to d2p.
Have several albums by same artists and shuffle works fine.
However phone takes ages 3-4 minutes to start up "tracks" if you go through walkman menu, so use play/pause button if you have loads of songs. It seems to remember and starts straight away. (I have radio on a shortcut).
I'm a bus driver so have music or radio going all day with phone on, at end of day, have about 20% battery left. This includes about 30mins of calls and several texts. (8hr day).
Unless you live on a park bench, there should be no problem to charge phone nightly.
Also put "Sound recording" on joystick shortcut it works like a dream! Starts recording with one pull down of joystick and saves if you press save or deletes if you use back button! Bring on the police brutality! (Only joking)

tom starkey!, YOU ARE THE MAN BUDDY! YES some IDIOTS made us really scared to get this phone because of its battery life but as you said, it has a long playing life to go and yeah i trust what you said about it, FOR THE W800i lol, PACE!

hi there,
i have a problem here. when i activate the camera function. i have set the location where the pics taken will be automatically save to my memory stick. im very sure that i set it into my memory stick. but i wonder why each time when new pic taken, it is still automatically save under my phone memory??? why is that so??
pls help me on my setting
