I have it and I think it's amazing! Everything is perfect! Sound, picture quality, functions! Even the design (color), which I didn't like much at first, seems very good now! There can't be a better phone, believe me!

It's the best phone ever! It's sooo good it's a classic already! How many people can remember the Nokia's series? People will always remember this phone even after it's long way gone!!!! If I ever have to have a new cellphone, I would not give this one away.

This phone is the best camera phone on the market and the new nokia's are simply blown away. It does not need UMTS cause the other awesome features make up for this!!!!!!!!!

Having a hard time deciding between sony ericsson w800i and samsung d600. Is d600's 4x better cif video worth $200 extra and make up for lack of w800's autofocus, what is macro mode? How do d600 stereo speakers sound for listening to music, etc., are they much better than w800's mono and make up for w800's topnotch earphones? Is d600's bigger screen offset by w800's game-friendly joystick and free downloadable themes and games (any way to download stuff for d600, anyone else having tech problems with that)? Is d600's quadband better than w800's phone-off mp3 flight mode and longer battery life? Does d600's sophisticated look and color offset its annoying slider design and w800's impressive orange and simple/durable/easy to buy cases for bar design? Major difference is video and $200. Is d600 really worth $200 or 50% more than w800i, is it even as good? $650 incl. 512mb transflash card and radio equipped handsfree vs. w800i's $450?

the memory card thing works like a computer harddrive.. like u buy a 40gb comp but only 39 or less appears.. memory thingy is the same tho it says 512 but some of it is taken for other uses i think.. and this phone is quite good tho without the symbian thing tho i still dun understand wats so different about it..

SE has succesfully put together an average digital camera, but failed misserably in building a phone that can interact with other devices.
I used to use 6600.
Problem with SE : 1. Since we know it is not a symbian phone, not that many useful program (other than games) that can be installed, such as universal remote control, 2. Syncronisation with this phone is really cr*p especially 'Contact' syn. you will have double the contact that you need, means if you have 240 contact, after syn you will have 480 or thereabout, in your computer and the phone (for some reason, some contact is not made double). it is made double because : when you have the number it is without the area code, e.g. the number is 98765432, 1st syn go to computer, outlook will add your area code the number becomes (03)98765432, but the phone cant recognise this and start grabbing a new number 0398765432 and throwing it back again to the other device. BUT you CANNOT use 0398765432 since it does not recognise that 03 is the area code (but 6600 did, hence no double up)--> big time blunder by SE. if you use syn, think twice, 3. too many things in here is 'protected' cant delete this or rename this and that

Definitely the phone is cute... what makes me undecided to buy this phone because I don't know if you can personalize the message alert tones unlike in Nokia's phones which is likely very unique. Any help? thanks... But in fairness... as I have reviewed this phone, it is basically great but sad to note, why SE does not include Symbian with this phone? why?

james get this,w900 will cost more and extra is the fact that it's a 3G phone and 470 memory...but u can get a big card for the w800 and end up with 100 g of phone instead of 150
