Hey adrien

w800 has 4x digital zoom. and the phone has one of the loudest speaker on the planet. let alone if u edit the sound file in pc for a maximum volume. that would be a blast!

you can change the setting on the d600 so the screen doesn't fade to black....

          to struth11

for W800i, the screen will go to sleep mode if no key is pressed within 15 seconds. here the screen will turn to dark gray with time indicated in black color. if there is a message received and u missed it, a message symbol (envelope) will appear right on top of the time (in sleep mode). if there is a missed call, a missed call symbol (u-turn arrow) will appear on top of the time (in sleep mode). So yes, u dont have to press a key to know if there is missed call or message.

And with W800i, u can costumise message tone to your liking. be it mp3 songs or true tones or whatever. once i used a fart sound which is very loud and real. kinda funny to see the reaction of people around when i received a message.

Just got a Samsung D600 and have a couple of gripes about it - want to know whether to change to the W800i instead.
The screen turns off after a short while, so you can't see ANYTHING at all. Not even the time. Does the W800i do this too? Or can you see the time/missed calls sign or something without having to press a button to see?
You can't customise the SMS message tone - and the included ones are rubbish. Can I set my SMS tone on the W800i to whatever I want or is it just the ones on the phone?

I know these might sound like small issues, but they're there!

            Thanks

I just recently bought the w800i. this phone rocks, i loved how they were made, and also included the same identical software were we used from the ipod to listen mp3. i'm just can't say that how much i loved this phone . one thing that you cannot admit is SE is always betther than Nokia. SE rocks and the NOKIA *** so easily.

The camera is great. The orange color is unique compared to the silver and black we r used. Its a good buy any day.

I am usually a Nokia fan but seeing as the last several phones have been dissapointing (Nokia 6101 - which I currently have)I am looking for a different manufacturer. SOmeone in work has this phone & it is fantastic.

The Camera is excellent, the MP3 player as well. It also comes with a fair sized memory card (about 512mb). The colours probably the only weak point with this.

Now I have a new job I will get this on Contract next year. But I'm not sure who to go for : Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile or Virgin (apparently they do some sort of line rental now).

Any suggestions at all. Two people have told me Vodafone are the best.

Great! i just saved jack black's spoof version of Lord of the Rings (video) into my W800i.

previously i said the video quality for w800i is not that good. well, i take back my words. using xilisoft psp video converter, with the following setting, the quality is EXCELLENTE!!!! Really..(i mean for a phone of this size).

                          setting on xilisoft psp converter
                          video size:176x144
                          bit rate: 104
                          frame rate: 25
                          audio channels: mono

i played the clip twice on my w800i. it was smooth and pretty clear. can't wait to show-off to my friends.

man.. this phone just keep on suprising me everyday with it's capability.

to all the owner of W800i. Just keep on discovering your orange beauty...dont forget to share the feat.

I forgot to ask something very important!!! does the earphone of w900 works on w800I??? coz i liked that earphone so much from which u can change tracks without removing ur phone from ur pocket/cover.... if it will work i gonna order it right nowwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!

wellllllll guys......... if w900 rocks then w800I is the rockerrrrr and still the best!!! who is in need for a big thickkk phone!!! oh gosh!!! indeed u have to open it downwards to get the keypad, so it's gonna be more bigger. heheheheee..........

One thing I liked about w900 is the internal memory built in, but who *** cares!!! w800I can support up to 2 gb ( and by using the quick time pro software to convert mp3's to mp4's you will be able to save as many songs as u want ( X 4 or maybe X 5)...

The dis-advantage is that w800I doesnt support HTML browser which w900 supports!!!

W800I still the rocker!!! w800I winssssssss...

Does anyone know how to set up this phone to use instant messaging like AIM, Yahoo, or MSN? My service is tmobile usa. Is there any way to download the IM app? The tmobile girl told me I could do it through the wap web, but would cost me an extra $6.00 a month.

W900 is good and all.. but its a little over done. Cool it has all those things but I would rather a very small phone instead of that bulky thing and keep applications that I just use..
